Hi all. I have a question and i don't know where to ask...hope i find the answer here. I have a galaxy S4 with android 5.0.1 and yesterday i noticed that i can't record videos or start voice recorder with my internet on, it gives me an warning message "unable to record video while another app is recording sound" on camera and "unable to start a new recording . other app already recording" on voice rec . If i switch internet off it works. I went to running apps and disabled them one by one to find out witch is doing that and found out that it is context service. Now that being a google service i can't switch it off...i did clear cache and data and after a short period it starts again and i can't record again. What is the solution, please help.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Interesting problem. I would try asking in this thread:
> Samsung Galaxy S 4 i9500, i9505, i9505G, i9506 > Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [HELP THREAD] Galaxy S4 | Ask any question | Noob friendly.
Please note, you will need to be registered for an XDA account to post there.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Hi
I wonder if anyone could offer advice with an issue I have with my Galaxy S3.
The phone is running UK 3 android 4.3, Baseband I9300NEUGND1, Kernel 3.0.31-2429075
The issue is that when I use the camera and I exit using the camera I notice the GPS searching icon in the notification bar.
"GPS Tag" is off (unchecked) in camera settings however this issue only started after I used the function while on holiday abroad.
Before I would never see the GPS icon (unless using GPS).
Now I see the GPS icon flashing breifly every time I exit the camera.
It seems that it is taking a fix (about six seconds)
If I check the "GPS Tag" box then I get the GPS icon within the camera screen as expected and photos are "Geo Tagged" as expected.
It seems that my initial use of the GPS Tag function has started this issue.
I have tried turning the GPS Tag and GPS function off, on and back off several times and also restarting the phone.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can ask your question in the Samsung Galaxy S III I9300, I9305 > Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [HELP THREAD] Galaxy S3 Ask any question. thread, or directly in the Samsung Galaxy S III I9300, I9305 > Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Maybe you have to clear the data of the camera app (via Settings > Application manager > All > Camera).
But you might get better advices in your device specific forum.
I have the Nite Edge.
I have a problem with SVoice not speaking back to me when I install the password manager Keeper as well as the application whis gives you an additional edge screen on your phone I have forgotten the name of it. I contacted the developer and he advise me that his Note Edge did not have the same problem. I have tried another password manager as well but it also disables the SVoice feature to double tap the home button and hear the tone S Voufe generates. S Voice does not answer me vocally as well if I ask it a question. It just prints out the response. If I disable the I. Question apps then S Voice works ok.
Has any body have any suggestions to offer.
Thanks to all
Best,
Frederic
Please post in [Help] Stupid Question Thread, GNote Edition so that one of the experts may be of help.
Please assist if you have a workaround. Our Nexus 6 phone with Bell Canada has no ringtone and other glitches after the Lollipop upgrade. Even after restarting, no ringtone. All settings were checked, including disabling 'Headset Button Controller' which is a great app for those of us who prefer wired headsets. If a headset is worn, the caller is announced, but no ringtone, if I have 'Headset Button Controller' enabled. I have read on other sites that the Soundabout app might help with this. Has anyone any success with fixing this defect with app? Do I need to go back to Bell and get the sim chip replaced? Removing and reinstalling it did nothing. Anyone else have clues? We also have a Samsung Note 4, and I need to know how to refuse this latest lollipop upgrade on it, before this phone is tanked as well with Googles's shoddy upgrade. Reading on other sites, I am finding this is quite wide spread to have ringtone issues after this latest upgrade. Thanks in advance for any info or fixes for this.
Hi there,
I'm sorry but I don't find anything related to your problem so for more relevant answers you must ask in the device forum for Nexus 6 from here:

Good luck
Greetings.
I just got my new phone (LG G2) recently and I'm still trying everything out.
I'm running stock 4.4 kitkat, the build is D80220H.
So now I'm tinkering with Google now and it's voice powered search.
When I press the microphone button it starts to listen to me and it works properly that way.
So first, my settings are:
Search language is set to English (US).
In VOICE settings, default language is set to English (US).
In Ok Google tab, " From the Google app" is set to ON, but it doesn't react when I say " Ok Google".
When I try to set " From any screen" to on, it asks me to say " Ok Google" 3 times but the microphone is off or something because it just doesn't hear me, it does not listen to me.
So basically, I can't control google now with my voice. How do I fix this?
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. It's probably best to ask in the G2 help thread here:
[HELP THREAD][Noob Friendly] LG G2 Ask any question
Got the fix.
You need to disable On-Screen Phone in accessibility options.
Thanks to reddit user Muhh24 for this.
And whole r/lgg2 subreddit.
Glad to see you've resolved your issue.
Thread closed, thanks.

Hi, Need some help. Just got a FreedomPop Samsung Galaxy SIII model SPH-L710 with Sprint logo on the back. It's running Android 4.4.2. I am unable to use bluetooth on this phone. Every time I attempt to open bluetooth I get an error message "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped" . Then I must press OK to exit the error message. Bluetooth remains on but whenever I attempt to scan the same thing happens every time. I can not connect to my Samsung Gear 2 Neo or my bluetooth keyboard or my car radio with built-in bluetooth for calls or music. If it doesn't find any bluetooth devices it just gives the standard message of "No nearby Bluetooth devices found" and stays on. But the minute you press scan at the bottom of the screen and it tries to find a nearby bluetooth device then it gives the error message "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped" and that's the end of story. I can't connect to anything. I called FreedomPop and they said their aware of the Bluetooth problem and said Samsung is working on it but they have no time frame when or if it will be fixed. So, can I possibly switch to a custom ROM from XDA that might fix this error without losing the connectivity of FreedomPop network? I am on their free 200/500/500 monthly plan so it's a great deal cause I don't use my phone much for calling or texting anyone and those numbers work fine for me. Any help would be appreciated. I already checked and the phone appears rooted and I can boot into the TeamWin Recovery Project V2.8.6.0 screen using the up-volume button and the Odin custom rom screen using the dn-volume button. I have also loaded Supersu from the playstore through Teamwin and it says I'm enabled. Thanks guys!
