I have a note 4 and i want to know if i can use the OCULUS gear VR consumer edition for note 5,if i flash a note 5's ROM on my note 4.

i just got me a galaxy edge for sprint. can i use the same zip for the galaxy tools i had on my note 4 or is there a different one. or does it not even work on the note edge? i used it to get the native hotspot working on my note 4
have any one tried using gear vr with note edge.
i wonder why Samsung announces that gear vr is only for note 4 where as there is not much of a difference between note 4 and note edge.
