State of Multi-Window Solutions for Lollipop - General Questions and Answers

Hi! I'd really like to have OmniROM-style splitscreen functionality on my Rooted Xperia Z3; however, there don't seem to be any working solutions for 5.1.1. XHaloFloatingWindow causes bootloops and is pretty glitchy, and XMultiWindow just does nothing. I'm running Xposed v70 (20150808) and I'm not using a custom ROM. What are my options?

Issue with LMT launcher and the AOSP version of Android 4.4

Hey guys,
I'm new to this place and this is my first ever port.
I recently flashed my Nexus 4 with the PA AOSP 4.4 rom. After rooting and busyboxing and what not, I installed LMT launcher v1.912. And you guessed it, some of the functions are not working - specifically the back and menu functions. Has anyone else experienced this issue and is the dev of LMT aware of this issue/working on fixing it?
P.S. Sorry but I couldn't post in the dev forum because again, I'm new to this place.
Thanks in advance for replies!
UPDATE: It appears that root may be broken on my phone. Though I'm not entirely sure as SuperSU installed just fine and does not show any errors when I launch the SuperSU app. Given these issues, I just reflashed 4.3 and went back to LMT and SuperSU both working just fine.
same problems here!
Same problem. How come I can't get full screen mode with KitKat?

Benefits of a costum rom

Hey guys,
this question may be dumb for many people out there, but I really want to ask you.
Why are you flashing costum roms? For the features? Couldn't you actually get those features with xposed modules as well?
Or what are your reasons?
This should not be seen as a provocation ..
If you are running Lollipop, Xposed doesn't work. So custom ROMs are the only way you are going to get any features. If you are on KitKat, then I agree. Xposed and stock is the best.
Okay good, because I am on stock with xposed and I actually see no benefits in flashing another KitKat rom. =)
Xposed is genius. That said, it intercepts the intents used in JIT so it will cause your ROM to act slower than a custom ROM. It is also messy and can cause bugs. There are features that xposed cannot produce.as well as a.custom ROM. IMHO, there is still a lot of room for custom ROMs in the KK market. Xposed is great but you cannot beat native, well coded features of a custom ROM. No matter what anyone says b

Xposed working?

Anybody have any luck with Xposed, and if so what modules are you using?

Xposed doesn't work with Samsung Lollipop ROMs right now.
I saw an experimental xposed for 5.x Arm64bit support but no Samsung I think
No xposed. The creator States he doesn't have time to develop xposed for touchwiz let alone 5.1. I'm hoping he does. I sure miss my center clock.
Well hopefully we'll start seeing some custom ROMs soon with additional features

[Q] Does G3 Tweaksbox Work on LG G Stylo? (LGMS631)

The title says it really. I used to have a G2 and loved it but it has since gone bye-bye. I've had my Stylo for a while now but I don't like how uncustomizable it is,the nav bar in paricular. I don't know if it's just me but the lack of a menu button is annoying. I have rooted it and installed TWRP and Xposed and one of my Xposed modules is GravityBox [LP] but it can't do too much for my phone it seems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have Android version 5.1.1 and software version MS63110j.
Go to Android forums, they have 2 custom Rom available. You can install G4 tweaksbox with no problems, using it now. Also runing Katana Rom, basically stock but deodexed and slimmed down with xposed and other features in it.

Thanks, do you have a link?

Try udn lite. It auto hides the stock nav bar and replaces it with one that only appears when you touch a "trigger" of your choice like the bottom left, right etc. It is very customizable and you can have up to seven nav buttons and each one can be whatever you want it to be.
Here's a video of how it works. It works best when you use exposed and has a built in module.

And here's a a dl link.

Awesome Xposed-Compatible Kernels For Stock Lolipop ROMs (i.e. Cloudy)?

I'm on Cloudy. I like using Xposed modules –*most notably, G3 Tweaksbox and Greenify's Boost Mode
I was going to use Xceed... but I see Xposed isn't supported for it.
Does that mean they really shouldn't be used together, or just that the developer of Xceed isn't going to help fix issues for people who do use Xposed?
And if they shouldn't, what's my best options for a good kernel?
Thanks!
