Hello dear Xda community, i have a LG optimus G (E975) with custom rom (done to it by a friend ) , and i can't figure out how to make my screen lock not acces the top notification bar before i unlock the phone .
Is it pointless to have a pattern or a code if you can acces the setings just swiping down the notification bar

there is a setting you can not allow this access. if you cant find it, maybe ask your friend who made the rom.

Go Into carrier option
Display carrier logo (on - google logo off carrier name)
carrier and After Custom use this Custom carrier text .. Use what u want .. WORK!

if your looking for a cheap way you can use one of these https://play.google.com/store/search?q=status bar&c=apps&hl=en they can be buggy, i would try to flash a rom if you can.

I'm currently using a LG G2 with the G3 rom by OptimusRS and I'm looking for a way to add a button for the flashlight in the notification bar.

I use that on a rom on lg p500
I wanna say this s8+ is not rooted or soft change is standard default.
