Well look at this like another port for the Galaxy Young

This thread purpose is for release for public(Dev) with experience on this particular device
(Galaxy Young) to test and submit logs so that i can work on it
I Don't seem like to listen and care that people complain and wrote helpless reply
such as not booting,".." not working,do fix this. *Facepalm*

Hmmm,then does Build Rom are bugless?
At The Moment it's has lot's of lot's of bug like croach at the sewer (probably) So if you don't like it there's lot of choice in CM7,9 or Miuiv4 or much more that more stable & fit with function you need

Hell_lock & some other user suggest that i open a thread so will easier for feedback purpose.
Anyway you should know it need different experience on developing broadcom
Just trying luck here
Installation
• Download the ROM
• Copy The Boot.img from the ROM
• Copy the ZIP to Memory Card
• Start CWM
• Make a Full Wipe (factory reset, mount & storage > format /system, advanced > Erase Dalvik cache)
• Start the install
• Then Flash the boot.img with method over here
• Enjoy!

ATM i am porting..after my machine is finish syncing(which it still syncing jb repo) due to capped internet speed

It's from my own wildfire build but with some lot of modification
It's has a modified macro kernel
Seem no people have really tested it?

Htc is really different from our phone and I dont think you can modify a kernel and use it for other phone cuz there is a high chance of a HARD brick. I hope you know what you are doin...

if you are porting it from the scratch then you dont need to explain anything to anyone
but you have to provide the download link so that this thread will remain in dev section otherwise any one can report this thread to mod!!!

what kernel have you used the old 2.6 or ?
have you compiled from source if so can we see to learn
Is there any problems with it ..ie is everything working ,flash camera bluetooth

no I don't know how to built so its just the 2.6. and its isn't stable so haven't uploaded

will you implement some of the fixes that the mini 2 has implemented already? or its not possible?

From what i understood from his comments i thought he is porting aokp to TheWhisp's CM
isn't it the same as paranoid or slimbean? (a custom rom)

[Q] Why are so many roms on google+ instead of here?

WTF???

There aren't many out there. Just a few ports here and there. Just saw a LiquidSmooth 5.0 at G+ and haven't seen that in this forum but other than that, there really aren't many. Sadly for us 850 owners.
Although I've been close to G+ forums lately, for updates on other variants and ports for our 850.

See thats the problem, to hard to find some needs to get all these ports moved to xda some are in the general forum with links back to google plus.

Maybe because Google + is a friendlier place. There's so much bickering on XDA. I get tired of it sometimes.

Some people have been having success flashing other roms from other carriers. They just flash the rom and then flash the D850 kernel before booting, im going to try it here in a few days, ill report back

We have plenty of Roms here
