[Q] CM slightly slow compared to other roms?

Hi!
I was on RR 6 and got tired of the bugs. Wanted to move to Sultan 5.1.1 but because of a glitch, ended up with CM latest stable release (which is 12.1 I think - based on 5.1.1).
It's a great rom! Only question I have is:
Do you guys notice slower performance compared to other roms?

Audiofx los 14.1 issue

My OPO is running los 14.1 and I didn't liked the built in audiofx for some reason , so I flashed the audiofx(maxx audio for cm 14.1) but the equalizer doesn't work with YouTube and some other apps. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.. .

neon (perf but stutter sometimes)
aln (balanced)
litten (balanced but stutter in gaming)
kyrielight (battery)

I recommend mochi or lyb or no gravity
mochi (battery but no stutter)
lyb,nogravity (balance&gaming dedicated app)

Kangaroo Kernel is straight up the best kernel for MIUI, considering Lyb isn't supported albeit it boots, Mochi is for OSS and aLn is just weird
