Hi all,
I'm posting here since I have found no answers on this forum nor on other websites...
If this is not the right section to ask the question, please move the post.
I had HTC One S villec2 (S3 CPU) which I was able to use any SIM card with, but once it suddenly stopped working and no repair shop was able to revive it, so I bought another one just to use the mainboard for my old phone. The thing is that the phone I've bought was locked in another network/carrier and I thought if I flash a custom ROM it would take care of the problem, but it didn't.
I currently have TWRP and ViperS 5.2.1 ROM from Team Venom running, but there is no way from what I read to SIM-unlock the phone.
I'm hoping that someone could help me with a solution, maybe there is one and I missed it.
I'm mentioning that I tried all methods for S4, but none worked...
Many thanks!

Dear All,
Greetings
I believe this phone is not that populare where I can't find custom roms or RUU for it.
I am looking for original or custom rom that support reading/writing arabic letters.
I carry the European version of this phone and it is already unlocked and rooted.
Appreciate your help
My GF also has a Rhyme, i have to carrier unlock it somehow, but i guess its not possible yet i Bought unlock code for it from 3 sites, all were the same, and it didnt work. Probably the original carrier relocked it (tmobile croatia).

Sorry, I put a bad link above. This one works.
Hi everyone,
Not sure how many devs I'll be getting in this thread so here goes but after looking through the dev. forum and reading up on everything, I was wondering if any RUU was compatible with the US ver. of the HTC One S at the moment? All I wanted to do was to removed the "tampered" message from the one and I was told that some people were successful with this method but now it seems impossible for One S owners in the US.
im also looking for this as well
Hello, I'm a noob. Thanks for dealing with my noobiness (in advance), But I know you guys(or gals) can help me.
Recently I acquired a HTC one S, I unlocked it and rooted it with much success on my own following tuts here and there.
Today while away from home I was experiencing some issues and decided to "factory restore" it. Now this is the noob part.
I have TWRP(s4) installed in there I somehow deleted EVERYTHING OS and all.
Later today I found a tut on recovering a soft-brick, followed that and now my phone is working perfectly except for one major problem.
It doesn't find T-Mobile US. under network selections it shows AT&T and US. I flashed it using the RUU_ville_ICS_40_s_2.35.531.7_radio (etc...etc...)
My noob question is. How can I get it to work back on T-Mobile US?
What is on it:
Is current;y NOT rooted.
recovery is clockworks.
ROM is from the RUU please tell me if i am missing any info.
Thanks again (in advance) for dealing with my noobiness. Wish there was a way to avoid it but maybe someday I can contribute back to the site.
TL;DR
Used RUU on HTC one s and now can't find T-Mobile US.
How do I get it back on T-Mobile US?
Hi, i know this is a noobie question, i tried google-ing but i find the answers insufficient. Aside from bootlogo and apps, What is the difference of Vodafone branded and the Local ones?
I got this HTC sensation VF from my friend and I want to flash custom ROMs/firmwares. The phone is already openline but is still on stock rom and unrooted. I am just wondering if I will get problems if I unlock it and then flash firmwares. if so, is it already the same as the local ones?
I came from Samsung phones and I am just new in HTC phones and i know it's more complicated to work around.
i just found answers to my questions, thread closed.
Hi friends, very good morning to all. I'm new to the forum and came to ask you some questions. I am owner of a HTC One S (S3) sold for Movistar Venezuela. I bought about in November, the first time I came. after being somewhat bored with my phone lol I decided to root, which went quite well and I had no problem whatsoever. root after having it I realized that there were greater things he could do, so I decided to go back to the Stock Rom, and to try to do this I came across the official RUU Movistar Venezuela is not anywhere. to be with the desire to go back to my stock Rom. I began to search the HTCDev page. operator operator that I came across is a RUU claiming to be the same model that brings MovistarVE officer and access the link clearly says "villec2" as identified our HTC One S with S3 processor. My question is this.
1. Would it be that this Rom is the same with that come our HOS (S3) MovistarVE?
2. If you install this RUU and block our bootloader stay Not impossible for the SAT see what we did with our HOS (S3) VE?
those are my questions.
I personally do not verifying this because I do not feel as qualified as to make it and rescue my phone in case of Brick. I say this to see if any of you with more experience if you do the test. I leave the picture where you see the RUU in HTCDev page.
Thank you.
excuse my bad English. I do not know speak very well

This is not a ROM. I'd you have questions please post in general section and not dev.
