Sim tray for Oneplus One - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
Recently I lost my sim tray for Oneplus One. Is this something I can buy from a local store like Best Buy or Fry's or do I have to order it online?

I don't have it since I bought it a long time ago.

I have a micro SIM. However, the only SIM tray available from Amazon with 2day shipping is a nano SIM tray. If I cut down my micro SIM and fit it to a nano SIM tray, will it work?

Probably.
You can also look for Original Sim Card Slot Tray Holder for Oneplus Oneon aliexpress.

There are no stores that will sell you the SIM tray, you have to order it online. Also the other SIM tray that is being talked about is only in the newer batches of the phone, not in the older ones.

dual sim adapter

Hy guys. I was searching a method to use 2 sim in the same time.
Not 2 sim active but only one of these.
I found that
http://www.the-internet-shop.co.uk/htc-one-s/78735-htc-one-s-twin-dual-sim-card-adapter.html
The question is: the adapter requires two nano sim like iPhone 5? Do you think it will work?
I take it you don't have the phone either? if you did and had put a sim in it you would know that that adaptor could not possibly work, you can't fit a full sized sim in a micro sim slot.

I have the phone.....so i use micro sim. Maybe the adapter has the same size of micro sim but works with 2 spaces for 2 nano sim.
My apologies for not noticing you were asking about a nano sim.
Micro-SIM 15.00 x 12.00 x 0.76mm
Nano-SIM 12.30 x 8.80 x 0.67mm
Two nano sims would be nearly twice the size of a micro sim so the answer is still no it wouldn't fit in the One S.

for example this is for s3
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Dual-2-...110974865569?pt=SIM_Cards&hash=item19d69e10a1
and it works very well, but it's better to use a flip cover or plastic cover...because it hides the adapter which come out from case

How about www.magic-sim.com ? Is that what you're after?

Seems like a great option. Only problem with the One S is the Sim cover would have to be left off or cut up in order to install it. Also, you would need a more heavy duty case like an Otterbox in order to make it less obvious that it's there. The smaller, thinner cases such as the d3o case would make it pretty obvious that you have no Sim cover and something hanging out of the phone.

Every sim card retailer have stapler type instruments ... with it he cut the sim exactly in 1sec. without any charge ...

Uh Oh... Installing the micro sd and the micro Sim cards

OK... A hiccup I didn't expect. I have my phone turned over and I am looking at the orientation of the cards on the pictures on the back of the phone. I pulled out the little frames and tried putting the Sim card into the frame. Is it supposed to snap into the frame or something? That's what I assumed... I tried laying it UNDER the frame (oriented correctly). It never snapped in. I tried pushing the frame and the loose Sim card in. It wouldn't go and I got nervous. I pulled the frame out and a part of the Sim card plastic has cracked and so now I guess it is a nano sim card? All I know is that it is even too small to fit into my Note 3 anymore. Luckily, TMobile opens soon and is only 2 miles away... I guess I will ask them for more than one sim card to cover if I do this again... Because, of course, now I don't have ANY working phone! PLEASE help me figure out how to install the sdcard and the sim. I am too afraid to force anything... Does the card lay on top of the frame or go under it? Is it supposed to snap into the frame somehow? I am amazed that you all had no problems with this one!!!

The SIM is glued to SD Card. In my case don't work, I don't know why, but is like you see in the pics.

Thanks for that but my problem was simply ridiculous (much simpler than that) that I couldn't get it! I went to the TMobile store and while I was waiting I tried to install the sdcard. It was much brighter in there and my hands weren't shaking from nervousness (lol) and I got it! I had to get a new sim. She was going to charge me $15 for it. I said I thought they were free to customers... Well, I learned something new. That store is not a "corporate" location. It's a franchise! And they charge a lot of money for things "corporate" doesn't! $50 restocking fee for a phone - even if you only had it one day... $15 sim cards... Different things... The girl there ended up giving me the sim card free... So watch out where you are - ask if they are a franchise first. There was not ONE THINK posted in the store that indicated that! Even the girl that worked there agreed that was strange...

Yeah, if you have a NanoSIM you will need to either get a MicroSIM or a SIM card adapter to convert the NanoSIM to a MicroSIM. The Nano SIM goes in the top tray so if you want to use a MicroSD card you have to put the SIM in the bottom tray.
It should come with an easy face up sim on bottom tray, SD card on top tray.

I knew that they went face up and the orientation of both the card and the frame but my hands were shaking so bad I couldn't get the card to comfortably "seat" on the top of the frame so I wondered if they went face up UNDER the frame... Lol... once my hands stopped shaking (and I realized that the card wasn't going to "snap" into the frame) I got it! But not before I cracked the plastic frame around the sim card that made it micro Sim sized... So I got a new card... I won't have that trouble again and I am actually trying to keep the back plastic protector on the phone to keep those invaluable pictures on the back!

Can two SIM cards be used together with the microSD so I would have two phone numbers and also the extra memory? Is the #2 SIM tray meant for both the SIM and the microSD card? OR is it used for either SD or SIM only?

Just curious why have two SIM slots when second one is available only and when you are willing to forgo the ability to add extended memory?

I agree. They should have dual sim slots and a seperate MicroSD slot. Some phones do, this one doesn't.

G930FD - Dual SIM Device

Can anyone recommend a good reliable seller to buy the G930FD dual sim version S7 from?
Does the phone come unopened and sealed too?
Also, has anyone tried both sim slots with a European SIM and can confirm that they are working?
Thanks

I bought mine on eBay. It was sealed, unlocked and came with a couple extra items. The shipping was terrible, but that was more FedEx than anything.
And I've tried the dual SIM and it does work, although is pointless to me. I'm waiting for my micro SD card to arrive and can report back on that, but I don't expect any issues.
@DJGREEN1980 Bought mine via Flipkart. Good packaging and next day delivery was given.

Micro SIM to Nano SIM?

I have a phone on order (HTC 10) that takes a Nano SIM (4FF). My current HTC One (M7) has a Micro SIM (3FF), but looking at it, it appears as though a nano SIM (4FF) could be broken out from the Micro SIM (3FF), much in the way that many mini-SIM cards (2FF) can "break out" to become a Micro SIM (3FF).
Does this sound possible? I hope it's not too confusing how I have tried to posit the question. I'd like to be able to transform the micro SIM to a nano SIM when the new phone arrives without going to the T-Mobile Store.
Thanks.

I don't think you can because with a micro SIM the contacts come almost completely to the edge, trying to go smaller would compromise the contact area. Go to the store, there's a right way to do things and a wrong way to do things, engineering an alternate solution is only necessary when none already exist, in your case, alternatives exist.
This may help

Take your chances and trim a micro SIM to nano size but I'll wager you'll have issues and have to get a proper nano SIM anyway. The correct SIM shouldn't cost you anything from your carrier if you're paying for cell service on their network. Why complicate it?
