Hi everyone,
I recently bought an Asus FonePad fe170cg and kept it on charge whole night for approx 6 hours. I just wanted to know if the overcharging is going to affect the battery anyway. I have read in other sites that a cutoff feature is provided in devices which stops charging after reaching 100% so i doubt if the same thing is present here as well.
Thanks.
NO,
It did't.

Hello,
Recently i purchase a dock for asus eee pad. About 10 charge and decharge gone with dock and i still feel this dock only get an 4 hours only of work with wifi. And with the battery i get al least 6. Can someone tell about his experience.... and opinion about this issue.
.its possible that when the transformer is docked he need more battery? Even there is no usb connected? Just the keybord and touchpad is waste more battery....
Thank you all
Typical is 8-9 hours with the tablet battery and a bonus of ~6 hours with the dock.

Thats from your experience?
Brightness, wifi?, browser? OC?
Tell more about your use
From the asus website, "The docking station also extends the Transformer’s 9.5 hours* of battery life up to 16 hours*, so users can use it all day for work and play."
The tablet is UP to 9.5 hours
The dock is UP to 6.5
Things live cpu intensive games, and screen at max brightness obviously drain the battery faster. I think I read somewhere that the battery life is based on the asus transformer playing a video at 60% brightness with wifi off.
Hello all! I just bought the Acer A700 tablet (my first tablet!) and had a concern about the initial battery charging. The manual stated NOT to power up the tablet and play with it, but to charge it first for about 4 hours. I was so excited about this new tablet that I didn't read the manual and opened up to play around with it (for about 2 hrs and then I charged it to 100%). Now I have read many places that always says you should charge your tablet to 100% BEFORE powering it up for the first time to extend the battery life of the tablet. My concern is that not charging the tablet immediately and using it right away screwed up my battery somewhat? I do realize this is MY fault for not reading the manual at first. Any inputs would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
This is not an issue with modern Lithium battery chemistries.
You did not damage anything. Enjoy your new toy.
I just got the tablet this noon. The manual is still in plastic (if that even was the manual) and I used it for 2 1\2 hours until the battery was dead. Now Im charging and using the tablet (thiugh it almost doesn't add up..). I always though you had to empty the battery first and then charge it fully up. Turns out it's the other way round.. Well, I don't think it's a real biggie.
I actually fully drained the tablet before charging it for 4 hours.

Hello guys,
I'm using my zenfone 5 tooj as my secondary device I've tried almost every rom available for it but the issue that it gets freezed at certain battery percentage is not solved in any rom.
If anyone has a solution for this plzz help.
IMO the straight-forward solution is to simply charge your device before it hits the "certain battery charge level".
