Dear all the mighty user on xda-developer,
I'm using a GT-N7105 ( samsung galaxy note 2 LTE ) on 4.4.2 android
Then i starting to try flashing a custom rom ( android 5.1.1 ) for my stock phone for the first time ( yeey~ )
And i'm starting with 5.1.1 based rom called ressurection remix http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...5-2-2-t2974539
The installing process went good but i'm stuck on the bootloop at the end.
Then i trying to download other rom like :
- Tesla rom 5.1.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...t0lte-t3161959
- Orion LP 5.1.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...ev1-2-t3161098
- Cyanogen Mod 12.1
And all of that ended bootlooping
Then i try to flash a 4.4.2 based custom rom ( kyubi rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...note2-t3109259 )
And it's worked perfectly, and i still trying to flash 5.1.1 rom but all the rom like didn't give grace for me to upgrade 5.1.1, but then i got solution from N7105 Q&A thread.

I flashed the one and only rom by wesamothman and my phone didnt boot up..I wiped data-cache-dalvik and flashed agni kernel..it boot up my device..then I wiped data-dalvik-cache(not system) and flashed resurrection remix rom..again bootloop but i wiped again(not system) then I flashed agni cm version(cm11.cm12+) and it booted up and its working like a charm

i trying to do what he said :
1. I'm currently using a 4.4.2 custom rom ( kyubi rom )
2. I go to recovery mode and wipe data-cache partition-dalvik and then installing CM 12+ rom & gapps, then i installing agni kernel v4.4.5( unofficial cm12+ )http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2316648
3. Black screen after the samsung logo.
4. FLashing the CM 12.1 rom again -> bootloop
5. FLashing the agni kernel once again -> black screen
6. Depressed
I tried all of that with CWM & TWRP Recovery ( because i was told using different recovery mode will end different conclusion )
Did i must do something firstly for flashing 5.1.1 custom rom?
What did i do wrong ?

In first place thanks to everybody that reads this thread. Thanks for taking your time.
I upgraded my N8010 to the latest firmaware (4.4.2).
I have rooted and istalled a custom recovery (CWM 6.0.4.6) and installed Gnabo V.7 rom.
I am not particularly keen on TouchWiz, and I would like to move away from it.
Gnabo room (as it currenly is) reboots randmomly, and I also experience problems with my emaîl settings. (have to reconfigure sometimes...)
The issue is that after the new bootloader, it seems to be impossible to install any custom rom that is not TouchWiz 4.4.2 based.
I think that if sombedy could list the options that we have for roming, after the stock 4.4.2 update, this would really help.

Update rom
Here is what I did so far:
Stock N8010 on 4.1.2
Upgrade stock to 4.4.2
Root with Chainfire method (over ODIN)
Instal Philz Recovery
Install CM 11 unofficial rom that led to brick
Unbrick by flashing over odin 4.4.2 firmaware from sammobile
Reroot and CWM recovery 6.0.4.6.
Install Stockish rom 4.4.2 that led to brick --> sorted by backup with CWM recovery
Install OMNI rom --> Success!! only issue is to non boot over charging.
SO... OMNI rom seems to work.
See If I can try another one!

i had cm10 installed but after a few months of problems i decided to upgrade to cm11. After trying to upgrade to twrp 2.8.3 something happened then my cyangen was tripping balls so i went back to stock s3 4.1.3 by flashing with odin. Then i rooted my s3 again using odin. Then i installed rashr and installed twrp 2.8.3. Then i booted into twrp 2.8.3 and before twrp loaded it had the cyanogen logo on it.Then did factory reset and the davik cahce clear thing. Then i proceeded to installed cm11 20141112 snapshotm12 and gapps kk20140606 but when i rebooted my s3 in still goes into the stock andriod what is going on? i tried to install cyanogen mod from a different sd card and i have no luck

Do you mean this unofficial CM11: [ROM][4.4] CM 11 Unofficial - Beta 7 11-22-13 (Discontinued due to new device)?
Or this one: Cyanogenmod CM11?
Please check this thread: T999 UVDMD5 Firmware / Bootloader.
According to this, you might have to update some files (bootloader, modem, etc.) to be able to install newer CM versions.
AFAIK, only CM10 is officially suported for your device: [ROM][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 10 Nightly Builds for SGH-T999.

Hi all.
I'm new to Multirom and i've seen that the support team.has stopped developing this amazing "hack"
I have a nexus 5 with PureNexus 7.0 , kernel: bluespark 108, and Build.prop "Pixel"
I've installed multirom and i can't boot to any sencondary rom .except sailfishos .
So what i did was flashing cm-11-20141008-SNAPSHOT-M11-hammerhead after that i was able to boot to secondary witout a problem , but after that i wanted to switch to my internal rom and i booted to my internal "purenexus 7.0" without a problem .. but after that if i switch to the secondary rom it will hang on Google Logo.
What i wanted to do is to have 2 roms .. PureNexus & Miui 8
So i could boot to miui 8 after flashing it over cm-11-20141008-SNAPSHOT-M11-hammerhead..
So i used miui for 1 day and i tried to switch to internal rom and it worked but when i try to boot to Miui 8 i'll stuck at Google Logo ..
And i did everything like in the tutorial i mean how to install Multirom . And the Kernel blueSpark 108 has that patch .
So i hope you will help me .. or show me How can i have 2 roms Purenexus 7.0 and Miui 8 at the same time,
I've just purchased Galaxy S7's Korean model the SM-G900K with my salary (about $200). First the status:
- Knox Warranty was 0, and other things are clean. Now Knox: 1 (TWRP flashed)
- 32 GB version
- Color is Black
I'm fan of Resurrection Remix ROM, but my new phone, the Galaxy S7 is can't install by TWRP. I tried TWRP at v3.2.1.0, 3.1.1.0 too. When I tried to flash AOSP UI-ed ROM, the Recovery says:
Error 7
I've tried to edit ROM's "updater-script". It wasn't worked. The Recovery says same Error 7 issue. Then I tried to install TouchWiz ROMs like BATMAN ROM, SUPERMAN ROM etc. All of them successfully installed. How to flash AOSP ROMs? thanks :fingers-crossed:

It has CyanogenMod 12.1 by loganreltexx (I think, it's Android 5) and i want to dualboot that rom with the official, stock rom.
I am using DualBootPatcher.
Also i tried it once by taking CODE_*** but on reboot, it vibrated 5 times and reboot. I reverted the brick with flash of boot.img
Pls help
