KickDroidXL v5.2.0: Restore stock keyboard and languages - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I'm using KickDroidXL v5.2.0 ROM. The ROM developer removed all languages except these:

I need to have at least Russian keyboard language in addition to the above ones. I really love stock HTC Sense keyboard and don't want to install any 3rd party one.
AFAIK, the simplest way to deal with my issue is to restore the stock HTC Sense 5 keyboard. I have a rooted device and tried to flash a ZIP from this post via TWRP without any success: keyboard languages set is still the same.
Also, I've googled about this topic, but found nothing helpful.
Just in case, I have a TWRP backup of the stock ROM on which this custom ROM is based, so, technically, I could extract files needed from it. But I need an instruction of how to do this.
Could anybody explain how I can restore the stock HTC Sense 5 keyboard on the custom HTC Sense 5 based ROM?

After a more than a half day googling, flashing and trying different approaches, I've finally managed to get the Russian language in the stock HTC Sense keyboard! Here is a short instructions of how to restore missing HTC Sense Keyboard languages.
1. These language packs come as files in the /system/app folder and named like IMEXT9English.apk, IMEXT9Russian.apk etc. So first of all, you need a donor ROM to obtain copies of these. Since KickDroidXL v5.2.0 is based on the 5.08.841.3 version of this stock Telstra ROM, you need to download and extract a ZIP with the deodexed 5.08.841.3 version of the ROM. Make sure you've downloaded deodexed version of the stock ROM, otherwise keyboard will not work properly!
2. Copy IMEXT9Russian.apk or whatever language APK(s) you need from the donor ROM ZIP's /system/app folder to the SD card.
3. Reboot into recovery.
4. Using the recovery's file manager copy the APK(s) to the /system/app folder of your phone.
5. Fix copied files permissions to 0644.
6. Reboot.
Now new keyboard languages should be available in the Settings -> Language & keyboard -> HTC Sense Input -> Keyboard selection section:

1. You can get it without rooting mate....
Install your Stock firmware which has Swype....
2. Install Dual File Manager from the market.
https://market.android.com/details?id=it.medieval.dualfm_xt&hl=en
3. Open Dual File Manager and keep hitting the back button until you reach the phone memory....

4. Now browse to "/system/app".
Here you will find all the stock apps in your phone.
5. Just look for Swype and COPY it to your SD Card.....
6. Now flash your favorite ROM and tap the extracted "Swype.apk" to just install it.
Hope I helped.

FAST and REAL Ext4 file system.
Latest Google Playstore Android market
New Bootscreen and bootanimation
Internal Storage increased to 2GB!
The rom comes fully debloated, but here is the good part thanks to a custom program APP INJECTOR
. The reason for this is file system fragmentation! Having a ROM with a bunch of stuff you do not want in it, you remove them and then install others and this leaves the file system a mess. Especially on NAND memory devices! Now you can
install what you want after flashing and keep a nice clean file system.
In this ROM kit is Petrus' APP Injector. This was written specifically to support this ROM. What this does is after
flashing you can now "inject" Google plus, Google add-on apps, Stock apps
You get to pick and choose what you want and not get stuff
you do not want! It properly injects this stuff CLEANLY either in /system/app or data/app!.

How to see EMOJI in Custom ROMS

So after much tinkering
I managed to inject an emoji font into CM9 (And TF101 Stock ROM!!)
I am now able to see iphone peoples emojis (in black n white) in ALL apps
(I have personally tested this on TF101 Stock Rpooted ROM, AOKP build38, build39 for Gnex and CM9 for Gnex)
I would asume you can do this on ANY AOSP rom and its REALLY REALLY EASY!!
I couldnt manage to make a flashable zip from the files they kept failing trying to flash in TWRP
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Download this zip:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/t9ge0djys3wlean/Droid.zip
2. Install 7zip
3. extract the Droid.zip to a folder on your pc
4. Open your CM9/AOSP/AOKP/Custom ROM zip in 7zip (dont extract it, just right click and open with 7zip)
5. Navigate to /system/fonts in the zip (Double click system, then double click fonts)
6. Open the folder where you extracted the contents of Droid.zip
7. Drag and drop EVERYTHING from the Droid.zip into the fonts folder
8. Click YES when it asks are you sure you want to add the files
9. Once it finished adding to the zip archive close 7zip
10. Copy newly Emoji enabled rom to your sdcard and flash as normal
11. Profit!!

Oneplus Launcher (old version, beta 12, h2os) with Simplified mode.

Hey guys!
As I've written in the title, I really like the simplified mode, and unfortunately Oneplus removed this feature on the last build! why Oneplus!??
I've ported this from ob12 and it worked well for me.
If you would like to use it, put this on system/app/OPLauncher.
1. Copy the folder OPLauncher on the zip and paste in system/app.
2. Now, you need to change the file permissions like the screenshoot.
3. Rename the folder and the file from "OPLauncher_aosp" to "OPLauncher_aosp_old". If will not perform this, something may be wrong.
4. Install the apk as well to confirm and reboot the phone.
5. Enjoy your old OP launcher! [emoji4]
I'll thankful if someone make a flashable zip!

Thanks !
I was looking for this ! Thanks, very helpful.
Will this work on OOS 4.1 or just beta releases?
It works for any oxygenOS. Any device.
Hi ! I read your post and and it's very interesting.
Here I am currently on OxygenOs Oréo and I have for a long time on Nougat used the August 2017 Launcher Oneplus which to the square foders.
"https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/oneplus-ltd/oneplus-launcher-2/oneplus-launcher-2-2-1-5-170731142847-5828a98-release/oneplus-launcher-2-1-5-170731142847-5828a98-android-apk-download/#file"
But since the upgrade to Oréo I can not use this launcher that I had saved with Titanium Backup and during the restoration it works but impossible to go in the settings "crash" every time same as clean storage and cache.
I tell myself with your method by recovering the Apk launcher it would be possible to install my old Launcher Oneplus ?
On the other hand a detail that I do not understand to rename "OPLauncher_aosp" in Root / System / App there is the Foder & File "OPLauncher" but not Aosp ? Then with your method you have to create a new folder or place the Old OPLauncher.apk in the already existing OPLauncher folder?
Another detail since Oréo he changed name to OPLauncher2 but I think the method remains the same just add the "2"?
If I understand your method You put the "Old OPLauncher" in the folder Root/System/OPlauncher and change permissions and the rename it to OPLauncher_old.apk & OPLauncher_old for the folder too ?
Thank you
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=24459283995298297 i found if someone wants old hydrogen launcher working on all ROMs
