Press and hold the POWER key and both volume keys.
Continue to hold all 3 keys until an exclamation point and a little green andy bot appear.
Press the HOME key to display the menu.
Navigate using the volume keys.
To make selections, use the BACK key.

Quote:Working on most android devices.
When you reach your screen,
Press and hold the buttons Power + Home together ( don't start at the same time , but first POWER , and after a fraction of a second hold Home (without releasing Power ) before the Power menu / Device Options pops up ) . Release the buttons once you hear a Shutter Sound or see a white shutter animation ( rectangle on the border of screen) . DONE !
To see the screenshot navigate to My Files > sdcard0 > pictures > Screenshots

[Q] Silent mode oddity

I've tried this on three stock Nexus 5's running 4.4.2.
1. Long press the power button and get the resulting menu to appear.
2. Press the silent button. Verify you are in silent mode by the icon in the bar.
3. Enter the settings menu.
Does your volume turn back on upon entering the settings menu? Sometimes mine even goes into vibrate mode.

Safe Mode | Pie - MiUI 10

Hi,
Is this method working on Pie, MiUI 10?
I've tested both several times without access to Safe Mode.
Power on device
Step 1. Hold down the Power Button of your Android for one or two seconds. A small pop up menu will appear then on the screen.
Step 2. On that pop menu, press and hold Power Off for a few seconds. This will bring to you another pop-up menu confirming if you want to boot into safe mode. Press Ok to let the device know your confirmation.
Step 3. When you see in a small font Safe Mode written in the bottom of your Android, you will know that your device has a reboot in Safe Mode.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Power off the device
Step 1. Press and hold the power button
Step 2. When you see the Xiaomi logo release the power button, press and hold volume down button
Step 3. Release the button when you see safe mode on the bottom left corner.
Thank you
I have the same problem on miui 11
