Unlock Bootloader via Motorola site? - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm looking forward to upgrade mi D4 for a 926. I just found this list of unlockable devices in the Motorola site, it's viable? Why isn't info about it? https://motorola-global-portal.cust...sion/L3RpbWUvMTQ1MDU1NjI4My9zaWQvMnJUdlluRW0=

No. Motorola provides that service for the XT925, but not the 926. Verizon doesn't permit it.

Motorola Droid Unlock Codes
The unlock code for Motorola Droid is available. I have already unlocked my Droid. I bought my code from a unlock provider on internet.
Don’t use free codes coz i think Droid has only 3 or 5 chances to enter the code. Search Unlockgenie.com in Google to read more about unlocking your phone.

[Q] XT925 network unlock without code

Hi all,
I retrieved a pre-commercial Motorola RAZR HD XT925 simlocked on a french operator.
I want to use it on another french operator, but I get the message "unlock network code" after I enter my SIM PIN.
I tried to get the unlock code from the operator but it doesn't exist in their database since it's a "development" device.
Also tried to buy the unlock service on internet : device not found on Motorola unlock server, either on their specific "not found" server.
Also contacted Motorola without anybody able to find this code.
After searching for days on different forums, i'm running out of ideas.
I'm trying to know if there is any way to get rid of this code asked.
I read a thread on NV_data but I'm not sure if it can be applied on this phone.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2166542
I unlocked already the bootloader just in case, flashed an official signed French retail ROM on Jelly Bean.
Any clue or help would be really appreciated.
Do not apply that procedure of RadioComm or any of that, that is for CDMA phones and could potentially leave your device unusable. I unlocked my XT925 buying an unlock code on ebay for $0.99 and it worked just fine.

Thanks for the tip.
After buying unlock codes on many different sites and ebay, one site could succeed in finding a working code : unlockphonenetwork.
I guess they had somehow generic codes working for this particular device.
Issue solved, thanks.
Glad I could help!

I don't have a XT926 but the seller does not works unlocking bootloader, it only gives you unlocks code for the GSM XT925 model. You do realize that unlocking the bootloader has nothing to do with unlocking the phone? If you are looking for bootloader unlocking you should make a new thread or perhaps keep looking to see what you can find, sorry I can't help you out.

[Q] Unlock Bootloader on Cricket/AIO/AT&T Moto G

Hello fellow community members. I was wondering if it's possible to unlock the bootloader for my XT1032. Apparently through conventional means, I am unable to unlock my Moto G's bootloader. For whatever reason, the AT&T variant cannot be unlocked through the Motorola website. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can an ATT Moto G LTE be bootloader unlocked

Is there any possible way of doing it. If you ask why i bought an ATT one instead of the moto online one its complex. In any case is there anything i can do with it or should i just resign myself to having to use it as it came? Is there any hope for roms if the bootloader is locked. Thanks

Is it possible to unlock boot loader Cricket Moto G Android 4.4.4

Thank You for your Help!

im in the same crappy spot!
Still waiting on root for my Moto G 4G LTE also
I too am STUCK
apparently on 4.4.2 you could can not as of yet. I doubt one will come, it appears both the software and the bootloader is very secure. Don't hold your breath if this phone gets updated to lollipop. Best option is to sell the moto g on ebay and purchase another moto g that is factory unlocked and not tied to att. I will never puchase a cricket/att device ever again
Yes, I unlocked my Cricket (AIO) xt1032 with Sunshine. http://theroot.ninja/
(it costs 25$ to do it though...and it won't work on 4.4.4, but Cricket/AIO never pushed the 4.4.4)

ohhh lucky you but isnt that the non-LTE motoG?
Yeah, the xt1032 is the non-lte version
So basically, all of us with Cricket branded devices running 4.4.4 are screwed, and never getting Lollipop?
I chatted with a Cricket rep the other day and they said they have no plans to upgrade XT1045 to Lollipop.
Does anyone have an explanation as to why Motorola won't give out bootloader unlock codes for these devices?

Because at will not let you unlock the boot loader to your device. As many of us know cricket was bought out by att. So now cricket is now a part of att network and att will not let Motorola let their customers unlock their boot loader through their website. If the moto g LTE is on 4.4.2 or 4.4.3 then you can easily go to the root.ninja website and they will unlock it for a price of 25 bucks. Once its unlocked that boot loader cannot be locked again even after a system update. As for lollipop I am not sure that they will or will not give the system update for the moto g LTE. Cricket is well known for not knowing what they are talking about when it comes to their devices. But if you can unlock the boot loader then theirs really no need to wait for the system update as cm12 is just as good as lollipop. In my opinion its better than stock lollipop

I am not a customer of AT&T or Cricket. I should have the right to do whatever I want to my phone. This would probably lead to nothing, but I wonder if any legal avenue can be taken here.

As I to feel like we should be able to do whatever we want to with the phones we buy. However the agreement between Verizon and at with Motorola prohibits them to let us unlock our devices through Motorola website. Which means that we have to find a way through other means like developers finding a loophole. This thing has been going on for years with Verizon and att. Even though you bought the phone outright from cricket, they are still att branded phones which blocks you from unlocking the easy and free way. However with sprint and tmobile your able to unlock it. I have the boost mobile CDMA moto g and had no trouble on the Motorola website. If you can go through the legal avenue on this one and achieve then you have no idea how many hands would be shaking yours from att and Verizon.lol
