Hey everyone.. I wanted to create a flashable mod.. I have mod for Canvas HD but now I wanna install it in Canvas 2.. will it work? Or will I have to do some changes in Meta inf folder? Help..

Just compare the updater script with any of the Canvas 2 flashable zips and check for yourself... :good: You can find many small zip mods in Apps & Theme's section.

Also please post the detail steps for flashing this.
But its for canvas a88, thats why i created it here. I can't move it now.
It can be ported to canvas 2 very easily.
Place it in memory card and use mobile uncle tool to flash this. Or flash using sp flash tool.

Philz recovery can wait for a while, i need all devs to focus on porting android 4.2.x to canvas music.

Both recoveries are ported by Mangesh,& all credits goes to him.
And to flash, just download any one of two given recoveries , you can even try both, & rename the file to recovery.img & place it in rootroot directory of sdcard & flash it through MTK Mobile Uncle Tools & enjoy...

I am using Canvas A110.
I had earlier rooted my device and was using JMP ROM.
For new experience i wanted to try other ROM's and i found;
1. LegoIce™ Project ROM 4.2 [LF-3 S4]UPDATE 03/02/14
2. LegoIce™ Project [LegoIce™_Fusion_v3] [4.2.2] [Note3 Interface] UPDATED 05/02/14
I wanted to use anyone of this ROM and i followed the steps for flashing the ROM, but after flashing i started receiving messages like "Gallery Not Working","Messages not working" and etc.
After reading in detail, i found that i may need to first add supported boot.img Zip to root directory - PLEASE CONFIRM?
Please help me with steps for adding add supported boot.img Zip to my canvas a110 root directory so that i can use any one of the above 2 ROM's.
I eagerly await for your reply, as i am now away from using my device and want to fix this ASAP.
