Hello everybody, i've got a issue with my G6-L11. The problem is that the loudspeaker doesn't work. I thought the speaker is broken so I took the phone at a mobile service and they said it's not broken and that i must 'resoft' the phone. It was very expensive and I said no. Also I think that resoft means hard reset right? I already done a hard reset before and nothing happens, it still doesn't work. Can you help me please? Also please be patinent, i'm newbie so i need explanations step-by-step. Thanks alot !
EDIT: I succesfully flashed B370 but the loudspeaker still doesn't work. Any ideas?

Hello. Today I tried to downgrade my phone I don't know what was I thinking, but I installed lost of custom ROMs before and stock firmwares too with Odin, so i kinda know how flashing works so I never thought it will be a problem. But after odin successfully flashed my 4.4.4 firmware onto my A5 i restarted the phone, and it wont power up, go into recovery or download mode, or EVEN CHARGE!! it's practically completely dead. Can someone tell me what should I do considering the fact that this is a unibody phone so very hard to cut the power off AND not very much development for it, i can't find debrick images or anything. Somebody knows what should I do? Thank you very much. Oh, and I can't get it to service because of the fact that the screen glass it's a bit shattered its out of warranty so I can't tell them its not my fault and tell them to replace the device. Thanks again.

Hello!
Well, I changed my pattern today. It was so complicated that I ended up forgetting how it was.
So, the thing is, I looked everywhere, but I couldn't find a solution to this. I am very upset because itlooks like doing a Hard Reset is more complicated than it should. Samsung phones you just need to press some keys and that's it. You have your recovery mode all set and ready to factory reset. But Sony? Of course not. I couldn't find any simple solution. I saw stuff like, unlocking the bootloader, this and that, but guess what? I don't have the USB Debbugging ON. All the tutorials I read said that I should have. And I'm not that expert on Android stuff either.
I'm sorry for dragging this too much, but this is such a nuisance. It shouldn't be this hard to factory reset my phone.
I hope someone out there can help me. I just want to reset my phone. I don't want special roms or anything. Just my phone bacon.
I'm sorry for my English.
Thank you for your time!
Edit: Forgot to tell which version my phone is.
Sony Xperia Z5 Dual (E6683)
Marshmallow (fully updated)
You can use flashtool/xperifirm to download and flash a new firmware (remember to wipe userdata and all other partitions)
Once this is done your phone should act as if new
Sent from my E6653 using XDA-Developers mobile app
or u can use sony companion to repair ur device .
it will reset ur phone
I m sorry but you mentioned it like what Sony is doing wrong or either worse than what Samsung's solution is.
What if you are thief and trying to open up a phone that you have stolen.
What if you are a psycho who are trying to force control your little girl/wife's life by spying on her phone
Or maybe it is your phone that got stolen, would you want it to be accessed that easy by anyone?
It is good that, a secured phone stays secured irreversibly nowadays..
Can't you recover it by using your Google account login?

You can enter fastboot and clear cache and userdata... If You wasn't fix problem, please be free to let Us know if problem is there. Cheers
just recover it with google account simple as that, to do so just spam wrong pattern for 5-6 times and it will show you how to recover it.
The Fastboot didn't work. The phone is not rooted or have any recovery.
What I did to fix my problem was Flashing it with a software called XperFirm. It just installed a new firmware and that's it! Thanks!
hello, i am new, and first of all sorry for my bad english
so, everything started when i got my xperia Z5 a few days ago, however i got the USA version. The fingerprint scanner is diabled in this version so i decided to flash my phone. i unlocked the bootloader succesfully, then i flahsed with an USA custom firmware wich i downloaded from xperifirm (i have to say that i replaced some files in the USA custom firmware with the same files from another custom UK firmware bc it said so in some thread i read to re enable the fingerprint scanner) anyways, everything worked fine, i mean not really, the fingerprint scanner did not work and other problems came up
I live in central America so my phone wouldnt recognize my sim card anymore, fine, i thought i could fix it, so i donwloaded another firmware that was for my country, i connected my phone to my laptop, and starting flashing this new firmware and when it was like 90%, it just got stucked for a few minutes so i pressed the "flashing" button again and suddendly the flashing was aborted, so guess what ? now when i try to turn on my xperia Z5 it just says "the software update failed make sure that your phone is connected to the computer and try again". ok i can fix this i told myself, with pc companion, but it rutns out that because i unlocked the bootloader, it can NOT be fixed, so i have no idea what to do , please tell me theres nothing left to do. please help me, i even tried re-locking the bootloader using flashtool, but it keeps getting stucked midway so... i can not do anything. i am afraid that the battery can run out, bc every time y try to charge it, it just keeps happening the same thing (this loop where it says that the update faled and then it turns off, and then on again and it repeats.
i really need your help guys. and sorry again for my english:crying:
Thankyou

Hello,
My phone is stuck on G955USQS1AQGL and won't receive OTA's. I have factory reset and checked with ATT and they have my correct IMEI and don't really know what the issue is. I have looked and found norbarb's post with the file, but it 404's and their account is disabled. If anyone could help or if you can help me with this extremely annoying issue that would be great . Thank you.
Oh and as for how the issue started, I have no idea. Phone has never been rooted or attempted or unlocked. It has been stock the entire time.
