I recently purchased a LG Optimus G Pro 240s. I like the phone though I'm getting dropped service frequently. It's an unlocked phone and I have rooted it. I've read some of the other forums and still unsure as to what I need to download and steps to follow as I'm really new to this. Please help.

Hello I am looking to flash the LG optimus m ms690 to cricket. It is a metro pcs phone originally and doesn't have much research or flashing tutorials out there. I have the phone unlocked and rooted. If there is no basic tutorial, i would be interested in learning how to do it manually or however many steps it takes. I am pretty knowledgable and would love some insight.

But I am having SERIOUS trouble getting confirmation on if I CAN or CANNOT root my Sprint LG G FLEX 2 ; lg ls996ZV9 5.1.1
I have spent HOURS online reading through forums and google searching, but EVERY link points me in the direction of rooting ZV6/ZV7 versions.
I received this phone from Sprint with a 2 year plan (Im not sure any of this matters but oh well).
Conclusion: I would like to know if I CAN or CANNOT root my SPRINT LG G FLEX 2 ; LG LS996ZV9 5.1.1

Hey guys, i just got my lg g stylo a few days ago and im wanting to unlock the bootloader and root it. Ive been wanting to put cyanogenmod on it and ive done it before on my samsung galaxy nexus but since its a different phone, its a different process. Any help and tips?
LG G Stylo running Android 6.0 on boost mobile.
p.s. i really dont mind if i cant get service after all of this. the phone is deactivated.

Boost/sprint/virginm are all the same LS770. You cannot unlock the bootloader. Only the tmobile/metropcs stylo variants have unlcked bootloader, so NO custom trwp, no roms, no cyanogen. Best you can hope for is flash back with LGup to Lollipop and root. But no roms or recovery, just root
I'm getting the tmobile g stylo (same os etc as boost ) on the 26th and WAS wondering if anyone found a way to add an equalizer besides power amp and rooting and installing a zip in recovery to the g stylo

Hi there guys was wondering if root is available for marshmallow on the metro pcs lg g stylo since I was having trouble finding out. On game theory's website there is a guide to updating to the latest firmware here but i'm not sure if its talking about the marshmallow update.
Any help would be appreciated I'm half worried no one will respond because it might be an incredibly easy question anyway cheers.
In case anyone ever finds this thread I eventually found out that you can receive the update fine by going back to stock. And rooting is almost the same as the T-Mobile model. If you have any doubt's pm I may be able to respond.
