Hello,
I need help. I am trying to enable developer options on my generic Android device but it needs a numeric
pass code. The device is labeled "AOSP on MSTAR Cedric3". According to info I have found on xda thru Google search it looks as if the pass code for this device should be an email address that is listed, however I am sure this device only accepts a numeric pass code. I have found that I can root the device with Baidu root but I would like access to developer options. Does anyone know the pass code for this device? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
I think this is the thread you were looking at before:
> Android Auto > Android Head Units > "AN-21 U" - Unbranded 6.2" 2 DIN Pure Android 4.1 Car Stereo Radio Head Unit [ROOTED]
I would post your problem there (or if you had a different link, then you have a choice ). Please note, you will need to be logged in to do this.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
That had the pass code! Thank you!
Solved! Thanks...

So what's the question?
If you need/want OTG, then roo tyour device.
In case you want to root your device and you wanted to ask how, then you need to specify your device name, exact model/type and the firmware you are running now.
Then you can search xda for your device name (e.g. at the top of xda page in browser where "Type to find device..." is written) and a rooting guide.
Good luck !
Thread closed. Thank you!
I cannot use Google Play app and Google services as it is a Chinese brand phone, Dakele Big Cola 3.
Can anyone help me to have a better rom for my phone.
I would be grateful.
Hi there,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device. You can try one of the generic root methods at the top of the list here:
XDA Root Directory
If that doesn't help, you will need to register on XDA and ask for help here:
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck

Maybe a stupid question (I am new to this) but can you ask that owner to share the ROM? or an image?
international ROM version dakele 3 required

I am not sure, if I understand you correctly, but Dakele offers their ROM to download in their Chinese forum.
How would that help?

It would help me if the version available for download is the international version. Right now, Google products can not be installed, and I can also not install any software that uses location.
The phone seems limited and restricted to China. In the home menu widget for weather and location, where it asks for regularly I can only select chinese cities.
Other than that, the phone is perfect!
Been searching the net for two days looking for a stock version of android for this tablet to restore it back to its original state after buying a rooted and mostly blank tablet, It dosnt access google at all not even to add an account and I figure flashing the original android version will fix the issue. I have visited the site for the tablet and the official support only offers download of the manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone, this is my first post so please be gentle. I have a TI keyfob which works on Bluetooth LE to communicate. With other apps it will connect and communicate fine, so the connection is not an issue. Now, I pulled up the example code in Android Studio for BluetoothLeGatt, and used it to connect. It works fine connecting and reading data from the keyfob, but when I try to implement writeCharecteristic() into the code, it does not send the data (In this case it's a mere " 1 "). I was wondering if anyone got that to work and/or can help me.
If this is in the wrong section please move it.
Hello, can anyone please help me with this?
