Hello everyone,
I would like to share my experience in pairing my Galaxy 3 with the Car-Kit. The configuration is as follows:
Phone: Samsung Galaxy 3 GT-i5800 with Android 2.2 Froyo (not official)
Car-Kit: Bluetooth Touch-Adapter, No: 3C0051435TA
Auto: VW-Passat, Year 2007
In the VW-Specification this phone is not at all supported, and was not possible to pairing with the Touch-Adapter.
Than, I looked into the bluetooth configuration and made some small changes (my phone is rooted) to activate Hands Free Profile.
And it works!!! now I can pairing my phone and get the contacts form SIM into the adapter.
If you're interested I can provide the modified config files and for the users with no rooted phones an update.zip (I must try first).
Yes, please do ))
I've been having the same problem.

Ok. I'll try this weekend to post something.
Bluetooth configuration
Hello,
As I promised, the user with ROOTED phone must unzip and overwrite the attached config audio.conf file in the folder
/system/etc/bluetooth/audio.conf
The config file is from Android 2.2 (Froyo) but you can look to the similar settings for other versions of android.
If it works PLEASE give me a feedback with the following infos (useful for other users too):
Phone: - brand, model, android version
Car-Kit: - brand, model, etc.
Auto: - brand, model, year
Will do, thanks a lot.
It doesn't work, keep getting "incompatível phone" error.
Tried swapping the audio config file with yours, deleting autopair and blacklist files, restoring the old audio config without restoring autopair and blacklist...
No results.
My phone is an HTC Desire with unofficial froyo.
The car is a VW golf from 2010, equipped with a premium rcd 510 radio.
Thanks and have a nice weekend.

I'm really sorry. I flashed my phone with a new version, rechanged the audio.conf and still works. But for HTC there are mod roms? Aren't they? These mods are supposed to be better than the stock ones!?
I'm using the latest MCR Rom witch is quite good,i think the problem is brand related.
This Android - RSap incompatibility is well documented, its open issue #4402 .
I read somewhere Samsung had implemented RSAP in their software, so maybe it's brand specific and only Samsung Android Phones will work with RSAP.
Thanks for your kindness.
Good morning,
I'm using the Mackay rom based on Cyano 11 (android KK 4.4)
I've got a big problem on the BT module...when i pairing it i get alwais a FC after the "code request" ....
Do you know if there are any slution?
maybe a "zip file" that i can test to solve it (modem? the bt is related to it??)?
Thank you in advance

After many try i've seen that time to time the "pairing" work... but is still really instable...

Bluetooth pairing bug, it can be solved only by the developer or ask in your device forum, they may have been fix for that problem

Hello,
First of all I want to thank you your work.
I have a questions I don't manage to answer reading forums.
Xperia L supports Bluetooth Smart 4.0. Well, after installing custom rom CM12, 12.1, Resurrection, the phone doesn't detects my Smart Bluetooth devices (Heart Rate Polar H7). Sometimes they are detected after restart, but the most of the time they are not detected. Bluetooth classic devices no problem.
I have made a clean installation of this roms.
I don't know if someone have some idea to change the bluetooth drivers of the phone and make the Blue 4.0 start. If you can help me.... With BLE Checker the result is ok. But then, it doesn't work.
Thank you in advance.
Device: c2105
ROM name: CM 12 dated 23th May
Build number: CM_taoshan-userdebug 5.0.2 LRX22G
kernel version and its settings: [email protected]#
I flashed CM over 1.5.3A.1.17 Stock
Hello! may you need some extra apps....for my smartband with BT4.0 i needed the app "smart connect" from sony.... may try it....its for free

Sorry, it doen't work with this. I think it could be related with the bluetooth manager of the mobile.
Any more idea?? Thanks!!
Anybody operating with Heart Rate monitor on the Xperia??
HI there
i was tempted to flash miui8 custom rom by its look. every thing was fine except wifi and bluetooth i decided to go back to stock rom problem was not solved
i did research on it and finally got some conclusions and i am not able do decide which one is right.
1.My phone wifi mac adress is unavailable
2.I cant find any network interface related to my wifi like (wlan0,eth0) when i used "ip link show"
3.i checked kernel message by cat /proc/kmsg it shows that my wcnss drivers are not ready while i turn on wifi
4.and i heard that in root directory efs folder should be there which contains mac adress and all that stuff and in my mobile i cant
able to find it
And i believed that it was rom problem and flashed a new rom (cm 14) then i got my wifi and bluetooth in work:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
but i was willing to know reason behind it and use my favorite miui8 rom
here are some useful information regarding to my variant
variant: lenovo vibe k5 plus
recovery:TWRP 3.0.2-r3
i downloaded rom from :https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-miui-8-vibe-k5-plus-t3500400
plzzz help me
thanks in advance

Greetings and welcome to assist, as miui was never originally made for your device like all custom roms there will be bugs. You are probably best asking in the thread you linked to see if anyone else had the same issue

I'm using the SM-N986B/D variant and had my android auto connect to my car unit (Pioneer AVH - Z5090BT) and ever since got the update to A11, it has stopped connecting. I tried changing cables to connect to know if there was an issue with the cable I was using. Anyone has any solution to this?
This is a known Issue on some devices and some cars.
Follow this thread for details.
One of the solutions there (Specifically for Samsung S21 Ultra):
Please update the apps to the latest version and let us know how it goes. If the issue still persists with Android Auto app (version 6.1 or higher) and Chrome app (version 88.0.4324.181 or higher), please fill out this Contact us form for further assistance.
