HUAWEI CHINESE VERSION Model: PE-TL10 Product ID: 2014CP4716 - Honor 6, 6 Plus Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi i own a HUAWEI honor that i believe is a Chinese version Model: PE-TL10 Product ID: 2014CP4716 with rom version PE-TL10V100R001CHNC00B260 .Is there is a custom suitable for my rooted phone?
Thanks

sorry i mean custom rom

Looking for same
Did you find a soloution as i am still looking for the same

it's a Honor 6 + (plus)
This is not a Chinese version but it's the Honor 6 + (honor 6 plus in other countries)
You can rebrand it (change the region).
At this time : Custom Recovery & Root are available
I find 1 custom rom here http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=1074633 But not tested by myself.

My solution
I've tried many solutions for rooting my PE TL10 HONOR 6 PLUS,
EMUI 3.1 (5.1 Lolipop )
The only one working with stock recovery : Kingroot apk (not working With PC software use directly the apk !)
:victory::victory: I found a EMUI 3.1 compatible TWRP :victory::victory:
You can find it here : http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=1052636
I't working fine !
You need a unlocked bootloader, put your phone on fastboot mode and launch the .Bat ! (you can also take the .IMG file and flash it with your own way).

You have to flash B316 stock rom and stock recovery in order to be able to upgrade. Not from OTA, you need to flash full stable rom.
Then put the zip file in sdcard/dload folder. You can also put it in root of your sdcard.
Power off your phone and then press VolumeUP (+), VolumeDown(-) and power button, release them as soon as the Honor Logo appears.
The software installation process will start.
WARNING: This is not a stable version of EMUI so you should also have the rollback file in order to downgrade if necessary. The first beta version of EMUI 3.1 is B505 for H60-L02. If you are willing to upgrade to B506, the second version of beta EMUI3.1, proceed with caution. The rollback zip for L02 version is not available yet, so do NOT try to downgrade.

im using international rom, and flashing chinese rom...
so i think its possible for you too...
as long as you made your backup using twrp or cwm youll be fine....please made a backup first
method used
flash directly from local update
if fail, you must root your phone before you can flash
flash boot.img, recovery.img, system.img , cust.img using fastboot
you should be ok after flashing this
if bricked or cannot boot, reinstall your cwm or twrp, and install your backup
I have the same situation. I made some trials and here are the results;
I was on Chinese version B250. I udated manually to Chinese version B260 and this was successful.
I unlocked my bootloader successfully.
All trials to flash the International version B324 with Lollipop and (EMUI 3.1) have failed. I even tried with a relocked bootloader but still the same. No root or custom recovery; all stock.
Of note that I could successfully flash the International version B142 which is a Kitkat and (EMUI 3.0) but could never update to the succeeding update OTA although it is being downloaded successfully by the Huawei updater.
All flashing was through virusplus Multi-tool
These are my observations. If anyone has a better input regarding fully flashing a Chinese PE-TL10 with an International firmware with working OTA updates later on then please share it.
Thank you

Problem installing twrp

Hi hope someone can help me, ive been tryin to install twrp on my honor l09,i followed every step on the tut to install twrp, but when i reboot to recovery it will just stuck on "your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted".. :crying:
Hi, you need to flash a correct twrp version, which will work for your phone model & android version installed.
Android 6.0 ("marshmallow") Honor 8 twrp version: 3.0.2 -> https://eu.dl.twrp.me/frd/twrp-3.0.2-0-frd.img
Android 7.0 ("nougat") Honor 8 twrp version: 3.1.1 -> https://eu.dl.twrp.me/frd/twrp-3.1.1-0-frd.img
Android 8.0 ("oreo") Honor 8 twrp version: 3.2.1 (oreo compatible version, should work for android 7.0 too)-> https://eu.dl.twrp.me/frd/twrp-3.2.1-0-frd.img
If it's not working, you can find and flash modded twrp version with "Huawei Multi-Tool by Team MT v8": https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/development/tool-huawei-multi-tool-team-mt-t3523923 (Working download link on last comments page)

Nope, you would just have done step 2 of the following post, you also have to do step 3 then:

ok, there is a more recent EMUI stock firmware (B520):
Honor6X-BLN-L22HNC675CUSTC675D2B520 (8.0.0.520) - Shared with pCloud
Keep all your files safe, access them on any device you own and share with just the right people. Create a free pCloud account!
e.pcloud.link
you can use https://www.dropbox.com/s/via9iigwa5q37rf/HWOTA_BLN_Eng.zip
to install it. Some infos about that here.
You should be able to use dload official update, and somehow "Huawei updater" software or "Huawei Firmware Finder" soft or app, also to instal it.
BUT ANYWAY, you should have stock recovery already with the build you install to get EMUI 8 !!! Did you check? That would be the case, after installing the above B520.
If not, look inside those B520 zip files (using "Huawei update extractor" software for update.app if I remember well, google "Huawei update extractor" for all infos), you will get recovery .img files. Flashable with Fastboot or twrp recovery.
But I thnik you are already on stock recovery, or will be after B520 update

Hello, I am having trouble using the DC-Unlocker software. I am trying to follow this tutorial from their official website to unlock the bootloader of my Huawei Mate 9 Lite (BLL-L23) but HiSuite does not seem to work. It shows a pop-up saying "HiSuite will be installed in your device" and then another saying "Instalation error. System version is too old". And then nothing happens, and HiSuite doesn't even recognize my phone.
I have Android 6.0 Marshmallow and I'm trying to upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat. Also, I have EMUI 4.1.3, and if I'm not mistaken, I should be able to upgrade it to EMUI 5.0.
EDIT: HiSuite seems to have installed the drivers 'Android Adapter PCUI' and 'DBAdapter Reserved Interface' despite the error, but not the 'Android Adapter Modem #2' one, and I don't know how to install it. I'd like to know I have everything needed to proceed successfully before paying the 4.00 €.

the tutorial you're following is the good one.
What is the OS version of your computer ? try another one!
Try also to install diectly the huwei drivers without hisuite:
Huawei_Android_USB_Driver
MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

Thank you for replying.
My PC runs on Windows 10, so I don't think that is a problem. I could try a Virtual Machine with another one though, which one do you recommend?
As for the instalation, do I have to uninstall my current drivers in order to install the ones you are providing me? Or does it not matter? I will try them ASAP.
P.S.: I found this thread in the DC-Unlocker forums of someone saying not all phones have the 'Android Adapter Modem #2' drivers and it should be possible to read the bootloader code of a Honor 6X without it (I am assuming that Mate 9 Lite == Honor 6X at this point). Should I trust this?
I apologize for the amount of questions, you just seem like an experienced person, and I thank you again for taking the time and having the patience of answering.
