Microphone and camera problems on D6633 - Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I bought an used z3 and i found there is a problem with its microphone which is weak and causes problems during calls, i want to know is there a patch, app or anything else to increase sensitivity, i have to say i changed microphone sensitivity in settings but it is still weak.
Second request: is there a way to disable temperature warning in xperia camera app?

Hi,
since no one wanted to answer my questions, i searched phone to find my solution.
the only solution i found is for thermal warnings, by this way u will completely disable thermal control so warning messages wont appear anymore.
first of all u need a rooted Z3
now u have to edit build.prop file. for that i used "Kernel Adiutor" or u can directly edit that file in /system/build.prop with any editor.
just delete "ro.semc.thermal" from build.prop and restart your phone. that's all.
and if someone give me a way for microphone problem i will be thankful.

@agent.47 unfortunately it's not about not wanting to answer, but not knowing what the problem might be, especially as it's used it seems probable that it's a hardware malfunction, either due to water damage or factory failure.

@Jkay7, thanks for reply, i know that may be a hardware problem, but there must be a way to adjust sensitivity using software, i may find it in future. Thanks!

Black Screen Problem Solution

hello everyone,
i've seen throughout the forum, many users having the same problem as mine, it being the screen of the VOX going black, but the phone still working on the background, receiving calls etc.
i've seen that after the first timeout, the screen when its in a less brighter screen, it shows the phone perfectly
as no solution for this problem has been found yet
i wanted to know, if it is possible to someone to figure out if you can make the VOX work only with the less brighter screen, instead of the normal one.
maybe change something on the reg. i dont know
can someone please help me? or i can lose my phone for good because of this problem

Yep. I have figured it out, but it's really booty how I have it working. I am binding a key press to kill and restart Tornado PowerControl with a dim/toggle argument. Attached are the 2 small scripts, I am sure it can be done cleaner than this however I didn't feel like it, heh. Simply remove .txt off the attached files, place them on your device and once you have TPC installed to main memory and MortScript, it will toggle your display when you run kill.mscr.

[Q] Proximity Sensor Issue

My nexus s' proximity sensors have stopped working. I am rooted and running aokpcb rom, I'm wondering if this is a hardware problem or something with the rom? The screen won't turn off when answering / making a call when the phone is brought up to my ear. I also tried using the app prox pro, and that wouldn't work either. If anyone knows a fix or what the problem is, that would be great.
Backup your current ROM , wipe and install a Stock ROM.
Issue solved --> Rom Issue
Issue unsolved --> hardware issue
Thank you for your response. I tried your suggestion, and the problem wasnt fixed with wiping and installing a stock rom. But, with experimentation, I installed the app "Prox Pro" and whenever I would turn it on, it would execute the command that was specified for when the phone was "flat". So, when realising this, I am assuming that my phone developed some sort of calibration problem with the sensors. All in all, I am wondering if there is a way that I can re-calibrate my proximity sensor so that they work properly. Thank you.
Could that just be the default for the phone if it's not getting a reading?
I don't think its the default. The sensors always worked fine up until sometime last week.
I meant a default if there is no signal or an error, which is what it currently looks like.
Oh, okay, ya that could be it. Do you have any idea how to change it? I also realised that the light sensor isn't working either, when on auto brightness, the screen will always be dim, no matter how bright it is outside. If you, or anyone else has a solution, I will open up my phone and check to see if there are any connection issues or something like that .

HTC HD2 black screen during a call

Hi guys, I've a problem with my HTC HD2.
When I make or receive a call the screen turn off and I can't do anything, I can't use the speakerphone or keypad, nothing at all.
If I want to close the call I must unlock the phone and hang up by navbar.
I've searched on web and I found many thread in relation to my problem; I've tried many solutions to resolve it but failed.
I've also disabled the light and proximity sensor but it didn't work. The problem still remain.
I've forgot to say that I changed the main flex and the display of my HD2 because the originals was damaged. Until now I never had any problem, it all started with the new pieces.
I tought that if the sensors were damaged the screen shouldn't become black when I answer or when I start a call, am I wrong?
Another thing, I've just inserted headphones in the phone and made the call from another device: the screen remains on and I can use all the commands without any problems. What could be the problem?
I hope someone can help me to find and resolve it.
Ps: I apologize if there are mistakes in my english but it isn't my mother tongue.

After update to 32.3.A.2.33 still low volume

I updated to the new firmware but still no change in the low volume problem.
Does anyone have an idea to what the problem can be.
I'm missing all my calls and it's really killing me.
Did you select all wipe options?
If you did but problem still exist, your hardware may broken.

My Z5 has this problem:after every firmware flash speaker is too quiet,but you can try this,for me its help: put your phone for few hours and dont use it,the speaker will recover and had normal loudness.Its strange,but it help for me.

HELP THREAD : IMILAB KW66 Smart Watch- Screen Flikering

Hi, I am using the KW66 smartwatch for 6 months. A few days back, the screen of my watch starts flickering on white color. I have tried resetting the device but nothing happened. can somebody guide me? I have also written a complaint on Gloryfit App but no reply so far!
IMO screen flickering doesn't come out of the blue.

I have the same problem. Firmware: V003129
The light is very low. It is not very bright at 100% brightness.
It also features vertical lines as "shadows"
I would appreciate if someone can help me.

I am unable to upgrade the firmware on Gloryfit app. It says newest version detected and doesnt give any option to upgrade. updated the app from playstore but still no firmware upgrade fr the watch through gloryfit app.. any workaround ??
