Hello Developers,
Freelander is fixed from me alone
I am at my wits end, I have a Freelander PD103GF-P bought with Android 4.4 Kitkat and wanted due to the scarce memory flash a 4.2 plan what not. I PhilZ Touch 6.57.9, ClockworkMod v6.0.5.1 installed, and multiple Android versions tried always with the same result that the 7-inch tablet gets stuck in the start screen. I deleted everything. I now have the firmware attempts to reimport that I have downloaded from the Chinese side down, because I get the message, the file is corrupted so again downloaded using a different browser, the file was and is damaged, have it tries to repair zip with object Fix, geflascht via PC with SD card SD card geflascht changed to partitioned etc ..... nothing geht.Phablet is rooted, Checksum will calculiert because someone has a tip ... would be happy ......

Hello everydody, I am experiencing some difficulties with my Samsung, model GT-I9003-phone which "dropped off a lorry" somewhere next to my relatives somewhere in Asia. When I goth the device, it was in a non-working condition, except a boot-loop and the download-mode. Back then, I had the package of the phone where the exact version ( I don't know if this is what is called "Baseband" or at least is called baseband at my wife's GT-I5003) was specified. So, back then, I was able to find the exact ROM for the device. Unfortunately, the box with the version number now is - somewhere.
After flashing a stock-rom, I managed to enter recovery-mode where I read something about the internal memory being corrupt. As far as I can recall, I then mounted the external SD-Card and somehow managed to reboot the system back to almost normal operation. Even reboots appeared to work normal, besides the fact I had no memory access, neither to internal nor to external sd. In addition, GPS malfunctioned, too.
Unfortunately, even this state didn't last for long time. After several weeks of now-and-then-use, the system just broke down again into a boot-loop. After some time of flashing a variety of stock roms, I managed to flash clockworkmod recovery which works perfectly well. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to root the phone before it "collapsed" again. Besides the possibility, I'd guess this could be a resaon for CWM being unable to flash a custom rom? Otherwise, I'd just test my way through the varieties of versions .
Basically, I do have two questions: 1. is there a possibility to find out if internal memory has failed - and if yes: How?
2. Is it possible to install any version of CM on that phone in the condition it is in?
Thanks a lot in advance for any answers
Hello everybody, I finally found the box . It reads GT-I9003MKDTHL. Is my assumption right that there are no such things as basebands in the GT-I9003 any more and I should be able to flash pretty much any firmware? Furthermore, today I tried to format what is specified as "sd-card ext" in CWM fir GT-I9003 and it gives me an error-message. When I flash "sd-card", my external sd-card gets formatted. So, I'd presume the internal sd is just fried. I read about a workaround for GT-I 9000, where someone installed Androd on a partitioned external SD. Is there somebody who knows someboy having heard about somthing similar working with the GT-I9903?
One step forward...
Hello everybody, I finally managed to get some light into my issues as I once again figured out how to get a software installed and running . It's this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2329200
Thanks a lot to the guy who just posted it somewhere where id could do good...
By the way, I figured out that this software actually includes the Baseband.
As in this version, the original recovery system is running and giving me an error message when I start it without external SD-card, I am now quite sure that the internal memory has just failed as this error message was specified in another posting of someone who had a similar issue with a GT-I9000.
The biiiig "Outch" is, that I am unable to install any CWM Recovery System with that Baseband..This results in me not being able to upgrade the software to ICS, where - as far as I read some troubleshoot-information - will enable me to mount an additional partition on my SD-Card as Data-Partition which isn't possible yet (i.e.: I can't access my SD for storing data or whatever - it's just specified as "not there").
I tried to install the XXKPE-Baseband to be able to go for KPQ which would enable me to install CWM Recovery. I also installed Bagarias CWM-normalboot-image via Heimdall - but I was unable both to boot the OS and to find any trace of a zip-file on the SD-card.
Edit: I managed to install the right CWM - it's mentioned in the post where I've got the firmware from... now, I only have to figure out how to deal with the fact that "officially" there is no SD-card inserted - or, better, that this SD-card is now flagged as "internal SD" - and how that machine can find the zip-file on it
Thanks for every bit of help with that issue
Try Aroma File Manager with Terminal
For SDCard issue you could probably switch them in vold.fstab in /system/etc
Good Luck !!!

Hi all. i have a Xperia Arc with {4.1.2} RacingBean/Cigar Galaxy (3.1-10) and Fusion 5.5 Kernel.
As it is known, the arc has 380MB of space for apps and this creates a very stressed environment for Android.
Anyway, a few days back it stated to reboot, stuck freeze, etc. so i thought to re-install the Racing Bean to freshens it up. So i took a backup with CWM and started to install the Rom again.
But i made an idiotic mistake and clicked on the "partition sd card" option and of course this deleted my SD card and the back-up with it.
I tried to do a scan on the sd card with varius software programs and although i manage to fine many of my mp3's and photos, i did not manage to recover the .img file.
But fortunately, i have an older back up in my hard drive on my laptop.
Now the problem.
I install the the Racing Bean, no problem
I then install the patch, no problem. The phone boots (in an empty state of course)
I then try to install the back up, and after it finishes, it stucks on the Fusion logo and loops there.
ANY ideas please!
I have all of my personal data in there (calendars, expenses, etc, etc)
Thank you in advance!
I have two identical xooms. The model number lists as "Xoom". Android version is 4 .1.2 , build JZ054K, kernal version 2.6.39.4-g4e32b94 . I've been trying for days to update at least one of them. I'm using a Linux Mint 17 desktop. No Windows available.
I've tried everything I found on these forums, and nothing has worked. I have 32gb external sd cards in both of them. My first trak was to do it from the SD card but I found that recovery cannot see my SD card. I also tried putting " BigPart" in a directory called downloads, but that didn't help. I also tried loading it onto the internal card. Can't see it either way.
I downloaded the Linux android files and plugged in the USB cable. I could talk to the Xoom, and tell it to reboot the bootlooder into fastboot or recovery, and the Xoom would reboot but lock up at the "loading fastboot" screen. I tried sideloading the BigPart file, but the install would fail on validation. If I try to enter fastboot by rebooting it locks on the loading screen. If I load recovery on boot it appears to come up but It can't see the SD cards or accept the files from the computer (From adb).
One of these Xoom's I gedfied and the other was a google device when I bought it. Both got all of their last bunch of updates thru Google, until Google dropped them. Could the google updates have left something needed out??
As I understand the process getting Big part on the device is the first step. I have all needed files for the upgrade,on my SD cards and on my Linux machine. I just can't use them. Anyone have any ideas? Does anyone know where and what the OS is looking for during that attempted USB update??
Ok turning of Developer options

Ok after 70 views and no responses, I'm giving up for now. Turn off deleloper options, and letting Google have their way with my Xoom android 4.1.2 . "I think" part of the problem is my Xooms will NOT boot into Fastboot. For what ever reason I do not know. The bootloader is still locked because I can't get to it to unlock it (using my Linux box) I know they can be unlocked because I did it a few years ago with my XP box (long gone). Is JellyBean the end for my Xooms?
Hi all ! I have a bit of a problem...My internal sd is kinda blocked in a "read" state. Neither the (rooted) system, me, odin, nor windows can write or delete anything. When I flash a new rom or a new recovery, it looks like it succeed, but when the tablet restarts it's at the same state as it was at a t instant. This means I'm blocked on Philz 6.0.x and Slimkat with a few apps and pictures. As the system can't write, the tablet freezes and reboots after a few minutes of usage. I've tried tens of methods trying to reinitialize the rom or flashing a new rom, I've even tried a Nand erase all, flashing a pit file, but whatever I do, it's stuck on the same rom with the same apps. Wipes are shown as successful but actually wipe nothing... It looks like the internal sd is dead. Note that I've formated and pulled out the external sd so the problem doesn't come from it. Has anyone faced once such an issue ?
Sorry for my english...
After rooting my device Prestigio Multipad PMT3677_Wi with the hope of freeing some bloatware and improving it a bit in space and performance, I came across new problems like degraded performance and an error that says "unfortunately android.process.acore stopped". I then tried to flash a stock rom which I downloaded from Prestigio website. As per instructions provided along with *.img file, I inserted an empty MicroSD card and in PhoenixCard application (also provided by the named site in the upgrade package), selected SD drive (card reader holding the SD which I inserted into the laptop), then the image file (with *.img extension) and hit "burn", but I am always receiving error message "Card Preprocess failed! 1012. I tested two SDs, one 16 GB and another 4 GB. None worked. What can I do to eliminate this problem and successfully flash the stock ROM into my device?
