[Completed] Xperia z - XDA Assist

I am using Xperia z c6602 with lollipop 5.1.1 and I used kingroot apk to root my phone. My phone was rooted. After that I installed supersu, ran it, it said to update binary, but it's not updating, it says reboot again and again. Now kingroot gone in system app. And my phone became 'not rooted'. Now supersu is not uninstaling neither kingroot. What should I do to root. Or update binary or uninstall all this?
Please help

I have try that lots of time. It doesn't work, cause Kinguser is installed in system files so I can't uninstall it. If I install new Kinguser or kingroot apk it directly goes to system, I can't open or run it, and it's also not useful to install new Kinguser by disabling previous one.
I couldn't delete folder or apk named Kinguser from root/system/app/Kinguser..., it says permission denied.
I also tried kingoroot it doesn't work.
I have installed supersu but unable to update binary....
My problem is.. My phone is not rooted! And I want to uninstall kingroot from system apk. AND I CAN INSTALL NEW KINGUSER BUT CAN'T USE IT, cause ' OPEN' button is disable. Only DONE button appears.
Its all happened while running SUPERSU...for first time. Before that my phone was rooted...
Please help....

[Q] Xposed Framework removes my ROOT!

I've restored all my user apps from titanium back up and was losing root. I figured out it was Xposed Framework as soon as i activate framework and reboot I'd tryed to check for root access with "Root Checker" and other root apps but nothing. I tried re-rooting again multiple ways i.e CF Auto Root, Root through Device recover such as CWM and TWRP but nothing. The app SuperSU wont even show up so i downloaded it from the playstore and it says su binary falied to update/install. I tried to update the binary and it fails to update. My ONLY solution to gain access to root again is to wipe the system COMPLETEY through custom recovery and use a back with root. But NO Xposed Framework becuase as soon as i run it and reboot i loose root access, PLEASE if anyone what was is that im doing wrong HELP a brother out, BTW im using the latest version of Xposed Framework as of this date.

I did uninstall xposed framework and rerooted thats how i found Xposed Framework was the culprit. Any other suggestion.??????????
This **** just happened to me bruh like i kept on trying to use towelroot and it will say success but when i go to root checker it says my device isnt rooted so i just uninstalled xposed framework and im going to try and root again dis **** better work.
I fixed this issue, my problem was a was restoring xposed framework from titanium backup which kept on messing things up somehow. So what i dis i wiped my phone COMPLETELY and flashed the stock rom again. I then re-rooted my pjone and installed Xopsed Framework from the website instead of via Titanium Backup and all is well now.

Xposed problem after OTA

I uninstalled xposed framework as suggested to success installing newest OTA 4.4.3. Now when I try to install xposed framework again I get prompt: Failed to get root access.

Is Root still enabled try testing some other apps that use Root.
If they aren't working chances are you didn't update the root binary after the OTA. Therefore apps can't talk to the binary.

How can I check if root is enabled? I still have unlocked bootloader and installed TWRP.
If it is locked how can I unlock it?

Open up superuser or SuperSU and see that they are still working, i know SuperSU prompts for a binary update if it needs one.
Other apps to try like titanium backup etc..
Just see if it works with any of those and if not you will need to flash the latest version of the root app you are using.

Ok now I am trying to install SuperSU and after typing:
cd Desktop/android-sdk-windows/platform-tools
adb push UPDATE-SuperSU-vX.XX.zip /sdcard/
I get message error: device not found
It is of course connected and run in bootloader mode. What to do?
If you were already rooted before then you probably already have the SU Zip on your sd. Flash it through TWRP. As for checking root, there are numerous root checkers on the play store as well.

adb is used in Android (with USB debugging enabled) and recovery. Fastboot is used in bootloader.
I downloaded root checker and it shows that device is rooted. If so how to install Xposed again?

Download Xposed http://dl.xposed.info/latest.apk and load it up to your phone to install it. Remember to grant it Superuser request.

[Q] SuperSU "No binary installed..."

I rooted my SGS4 Active a while back. Had SuperSU and everything was working fine. But now a message pops up saying: "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem! If you just upgraded to Android 4.3, you need to manually re-root - consult the relevant forums for your device!"
I disabled & re-installed SuperSU, and still the same problem.
1) Is it safe to re-root my device when it's already rooted, or will I have to unroot before I root again.
2) I've read that the SuperSU version on PlayStore isn't the right one, is there a link to the latest version?
Device specs:
(AT&T) Samsung Galaxy S4 Active
SAMSUNG-SGH-I537
Version 4.4.2
I have a link for rooting my version already, but I figured I should ask before I risk bricking my phone hahah.
My thanks for any assistance.
Yes its safe to re-root, just follow the same method you used to root it in the fist place and it should work. its happened to me a couple times and all i did was re-root following the original method used
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
This happened to me also when installing aosp rom... All I did was install superSU from play store and ran it when it was installed. It asked me to root the phone and after reboot all was fixed..
Your device is KK(4.4),so It's a ric problem,I think.
Please install the recovery(like CWM,TWRP) and install a zip file from developer page.

Unable To Root.Tried To Root With SuperSU 3 Times.

Hello All My Friends.
I want to Run XMOD but as you all know it does not works on UNROOTED devices. So i tried to root my device. I tried rooting my device with several methods BUT FAILED TO ROOT. Please check my steps below. Are They Correct ?
MY VERY FIRST METHOD
* I tried rooting with several apps like Framaroot, kingoroot, but I failed.
SECONDLY
* Then i found a thread on XDA for rooting by flashing SuperSU. Alright.
What i did was first i unlocked my Bootloader. (MY SCREEN IS SHOWING : Device Is Unlocked : Status Code 3)
Then i installed TWRP.
After that i Flashed 'UPDATE SuperSU v 2.46.zip'
After successful flashing MY PHONE STUCKED ON 'UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER WARNING LOGO'.
* i waited for more than 30 minutes but i failed.
THIRD METHOD
I also tried with this method.
Downloaded 'r2-motog-superboot' and connected my phone.
Typed this command superboot-windows.bat file.
PHONE RESTARTED BUT IT DID NOT ROOTED MY DEVICE. I checked with Root Checker App It Is Showing UNROOTED.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME TO ROOT.
MY PHONE's O/S Is Android Marshmallow 6.0
I FLASHED MY PHONE WITH STOCK ROM I NOW MY DEVICE IS WORKING. BUT I WANT TO ROOT IT.
