Hello. I have a Galaxy Alpha sm-g850m. It's rooted and i have TWRP recovery. I was browsing the internet and I found that i can change the Boot image from my device, I thought it could be awesome.
I downloaded a .zip custom boot animation from the internet and I tried to install it with the TWRP(Intall>folder>.zip archive) But it say there is an error. I researched if my device isn't compatible with the custom boot animations but I still not find nothing.
Please Help me!!!!!! :'((((crying::good::good:

Hello,
Bootanimations are not flashable zips. They have to be moved to system/media with 777(rw-rw-rw) permisions and reboot.

There is one problem with this. After flashing cwm or twrp, I'm still not able to get into the recovery unless I am doing it wrong.
This might be answered already but I cant find anything that I need with the search.
To avoid confusion,the boot logo and boot animation are both different.Boot logo is that Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 logo when you turn the device on and boot animation is that Samsung or whatever(Depends on which rom you use) animation on startup.
So what I need is I want to exctract the stock BOOT LOGO so I can edit it using photoshop.The replace the boot logo with the photshopped one.
But where can I find the Boot logo file so I can extract and replacing it.
Help is appriciated

1- examine the archive. it contains a script which is essentially a detailed outline
of the process to perform to achieve your goal.
2- my response to your request was to provide you with the above example.
if you are unwilling to seek you shall never find. you are welcome.

Pre root the stock rom before installing twrp. Because there is no cusom kernel currently to fix that issue for our a12.
