Hi everyone, I've enabled on screen buttons by adding qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 line to build prop because my home button is a bit unresponsive and I like the dedicated multitasking button. The problem is when I turn to landscape the buttons dissappear, the black bar is on the side but there are no dots or buttons and the bar doesn't respond to any input. Does anyone know how to fix this maybe?

I want to know the numbers of touch viva buttons.
I am seeing only green and red buttons. Other than that the up and down controls.
Will any body help me in this regard.
I shall be thankful.
?
I don't clearly understand? The Touch Viva has an identical layout as the Touch, with the exception of the right side camera button. Power Button on the Top, Green (Answer) Key on the Left, Center 4-way scrolling pad buttons, Right (End) Key.
If you need anything else, let me know, my sister owns one.

Thanks Paul for your support.
In settings of touch viva, there is buttons section. In that it is written button 1, button 2 , button 3, button 5, ok button and so on.
I want to know where are those buttons and how to allocate different functions?
Any further help will be highly appreciated.
Using Froyo, the volume hard buttons on my Nook color are hardcoded to Back and Menu functions. I have looking for a way to add full-time volume softkeys OR find a way to make long presses on the volume buttons change the volume. Another option would be to have volume controls in the notification bar and keep the bar open all the time.
Button Savior has the ability to have full-time softkeys, but nothing for volume (that I know of).
Any ideas?
You could use ClutchPad for this. There's just one item on the screen, but you could set swipe up to be volume up and swipe down to be volume down.
Thank you. I got it to work, but it's a little slow and the up/down swipes are a little difficult to perform correctly. I don't know why it's slow to access the volume controls, but I think the swipe difficulty may be due to the Nook's screen edge sensitivity. Overall, though, I'm very happy to finally have a solution. Thanks again.
Ok so I love this phone but I was wondering if anyone else is seeing these only two issues.
1. onscreen menu button artifacting? by this I mean weird glitchy graphics when you press the onscreen menu button a few times
2. Light bleed through at the bottom under the capacitive buttons where the bezel meets the glass and rubber?
If they are just made that way I can live with it but if not im going for an exchange. Thanks guys!!!
Hi all,
I've been using GMD Auto Hide Soft Keys to, well, auto hide my soft keys. But I'm frustrated by the two-step action to press a button--first an upward swipe at the bottom of the screen, then a press on one of the buttons. But since the buttons are always in the same place, I'd like to just swipe up in the vertical of the button to engage the press--for example, swiping up in the bottom left corner will press the back button without ever showing it.
Does anyone kow of an app t hat does this, or how I can go about this?
Thanks!
Update: Got it. GMD Gesture Control!
Hi,
the keys on the type cover to control the display brightness do not work. Is there a driver missing? Also the mute key does not work whereas the search and share key do work perfect. My Surface Pro 3 is just a couple of hours old and I did not install anything yet.

Umm, try holding the Fn key and tapping the Caps key. That toggles the status of the function keys.
OR Hold the Fn key and tap the required function key as when in toggled state the roles are reversed.
But then, as far as I know there is no brightness key for the display there. What looks like a bright light icon is actually a short cut to the Settings menus.
Didja read the manual???
Hi thanks for the information. I found out that these keys do not control the display brightness but the brightness of the type cover' keys.
