Hello All,
Here is a quick review for the CHOETECH 4.8A / 24W Car Charger.
Features :
2 usb ports to charge 2 different devices at the same time
Technology detection to charge correctly different devices
Detection of full charge to avoid any overcharge, overheating, overintensity
Test :
I tested it on my Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and on the Sony Xperia Z2 of my wife.
For the test on my S6 Edge plus I used the official cable from Samsung, the charge has been correctly done, and quite quickly, as it's a solution to charge my phone during I go to work, I didn't perform a full charge but I complete a charge from 67% to 100% in less than 20minutes, so it's a good solution for my needs.
My wife tested it on her Sony Xperia Z2 with a non-official and no-brand cable and she reports me that the phone overheated, and the charge has taken too much time (less than 10% of charge in 2 hours), it could be related to the cable.
So she tested it with the official cable from Sony and the resutl is that the phone charged correctly without any overheating.
I have to tell that you'd better use an official cable to charge your phone with this car charger.
Conclusion:
As long as you use an official or a good quality cable, this car charger is a very good one. It's a good option if you need to charge your phone on your car. If you're often on the road, don't hesitate and go for it, you will not be deceived. I use it when I need to use my phone all the day without any place to charge my phone and I have to drive long time.

Get a 1A charger or higher. Below that, it can only trickle charge or when it is off, as it consumes more power than it can get.

You don't supply enough info for us to be able to help you.
We need to know:
What charger do you use ? (stock charger or 3rd party charger)
What cable do you use ? (stock cable, 3rd party charger or using extension cable in combination with the previously mentioned cable(s))
Your cable & charger condition (very well stored & treated, abused or both);
Your GT-N80XX purchased condition (new, refurbished or used)
FYI:
GT-N80XX need around 2.1A or 2100mA in order to Fast Charge & a specially conditioned charger designed for GT-80XX.
Your laptop/computer USB 1.0 - 2.0 ports supply only 0.5A or 500mA while USB 3.X supply only 1A or 1000mA.
Third Party charger usually only supply 500mA - 1000mA unless it's stated clearly that it is a 2100mA charger.
GT-N80XX battery capacity is 7000mAh so you can count yourself how long it will charge using those power sources.
The cable itself also a bit different than most USB cable.
Most USB cable designed to only delivers 500mA up to 1000mA, some even designed to only delivers 500mA.
That's also applied to USB extension cable.
I also found many charging problem just because of the owner's abusive behavior toward it's cable/charger such as:
Trip over their cable/charger
Step on their cable/charger
Throwing their cable/charger after use
Rolling their cable in a way that it twists the cable so bad & breaks it.
"Broken" cable/charger sometimes seems to be OK,but it won't deliver it's full capacity when used for charging.
The Red X icon is showing you that the current isn't sufficient enough for it to do Fast Charging (2100mA)

Thank a lot for your reply.I use the original Samsung charger that came with the tablet with the original cable and I don't understand what do you mean by 3rd party charger but I read on the charger that its output is 5V - 2A. I read from another forum that the problem may be from the version of android which is on my tablet 4.1.2 but I am not sure about that.
Hello so i have been using OPO since a month now and suddenly it won't charge so i tried to charge it with a different chargers and they were working..
but here is the thing i don't understand..
the original charger with original cable which came with it is not charging my phone but the same charger is working with other phones so it means the charger is fine.. more over when i plug my samsung usb cable in my OPO charger then it starts to work again but i'm not receiving 2A charge from that cable..
please suggest me something guys..
btw i'm running latest cm update XNPH33R
anyone ? the charger seems to be working with every mobile.. please somebody suggest me something..
It's possible the charger is damaged and only capable of producing a certain percentage of it's original Amperage.
So if you plug in a phone that, say, takes only 1Amp it may work fine but it will break down when your OPO tries to actually use up 100% of the charging capacity.
Smartphones detect unstable/unsafe power sources and can reduce charging current or refuse to charge at all, which may be happening here. I had a defective charger too - in idle it was still providing 5.01V but it did not manage to handle any significant load.
Open a support ticket with OnePlus and have them replace it. In the mean time, I can recommend Anker's wall chargers but any charger will do.
This is a review of Kmashi Quick Charge 2.0 car charger (Qualcomm certified), ($4.89 with coupon code)
I recently received this USB car charger and I immediately put it to the test. I have had multiple car chargers that hardly supply enough power for my phone to charge while also running the GPS and streaming music. I have a Samsung S3 phone so its older and the battery is two years old so it really needs a good charger to be able to work properly. I first plugged in the charger into the car auxiliary power port and I was happy to feel the snug fit letting me know that the charger won't easily get accidentally removed. The included USB to micro USB cable also fit nicely in the charger and my phone and did not wiggle around like my last cable. My phone was at 85% and I was streaming music along with running my GPS for around a 25 minute car ride. At the end of the drive my phone was at 97% which I considered to be real good. With my last charger sometimes my battery wouldn't increase the charge at all as it was draining it faster then the charger could replenish. The cable was a perfect length to go from my center console port to my cell phone mount on the dashboard. The only recommendation I would add a second USB port so that two devices can be charged simultaneously. I have been given this product as a sample in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.
Thank you, for review. I think to buy a similar charge...
The coupon still works?
Does the coupon still work ?
I bought a brand-new Nexus 5 a few weeks ago. However it came with a 0.85A wall charger which is LG branded... and some 'generic' cable that was included too. Used it twice, but it took around 8-10 hours just to charge 80% of it. I plugged my old Galaxy Ace USB cable to the LG charger and it reduced to two and a half hours, same with my alternate charger from the aforementioned phone (5.0V + 0.7A).
But this led me to a question: Is using alternate chargers with < 1.2A of output a risky way to charge my Nexus 5 battery? I saw somewhere that it might even damage the circuit board (a rare case) and I'm a bit worried about it.
Using a charger with a lower amperage output will take longer for the phone to charge. Also, using a cheaper cable will also lengthen the charge time as the cable can pass the full amount of power to the phone. This has been my experience with using oem cables vs dolls store cables me chargers.

But... Will a Samsung wall charger with 0.7A of output damage my phone if I use it as my main charger? Because I also have a chinaphone which came with a bad charger and the Samsung one works fine.
No, the Samsung charger @ 0.7A will not damage the phone. I use a 1.0 A and 2.0 A Samsung charger with my N5 and it has been fine for months and months.
With the Samsung 0.7A charger, battery gets charged in 2:10 hours. I still don't understand it since I came from a low-end Samsung device which could complete its charge in about three hours (and that one had a 1500mAh battery...)
This is a tricky question, no doubt about it.
IMO, the cable quality is way more important than the current output (0.7 A, 0.85 A, etc).
I have a Samsung S4 charger with its cable (it seems very well built and it's thicker than other cables) and my N5 goes from 10% to fully charged in less than 3 hours.
Funny facts - happened to me:
- I had a very cheap cable (probably from China) that came with a battery bank. Surprisingly, it was the fastest way to charge my phone - reached almost 2.0 A. Later I found the trick: this cable doesn't have all the four wires, it only had two (positive and negative, without the data wires). I believe the data wires is used to perform some kind of amperage control; without it, no control was done and led to a very fast (probably dangerous) charging. I don't use this cable anymore, chances are that this nasty cable screwed up my notebook battery
- My N5 is almost two years old. Recently I had a problem with the Power button, the internal contact of the switch on the board was stuck 'pressed' and this led my phone to an endlessly force-reboot. I discovered this behavior after some google search and one of the possible causes of it is exactly the usage of a non-default / faster charger, it said that this could melt something - SOURCE
It makes sense, but I can't confirm this. I was able to fix this by smashing the phone on a table a few times (lol) and I'm still using a non-default charger
Can anyone confirm / say something about these facts?
For those who wants to see the diference between cables and chargers, give this app a try:
Play Store - Ampere
This app is a current meter, I use it on a regular basis and it is pretty reliable - the dev it's a XDA member and this app can be discussed here
Hope this helps!
You can not harm a phone with a 5 volt charger. The phone takes the amps it needs. More is better than less. I use 2 amp, 5 volt ones. As has been said the usb cable is the key thing. The better quality the better charge.
Actually I brought an used Xperia XZ dual sim without accesories. So for charging I used a Tronsmart Qualcom certified Quickcharger 2.0 charger and a cheapest usb Type C cable . But the problem is even it shows charging the device discharges very quickly instead of charging when connected to a PC , Powerbank or the said charger. Is the device faulty or it needs a high quality cable and charger and also in 22% charge i get only 1 hour 30 mins around screen on time with Wifi off and low brightness.
The person who sold me the cell showed me its charging with another cable and charger (LE ECO Cable and charger ).
You can try installing some kind of "ampere" application (its free on the market) and tell us what mA does your usb port provides to the f8332 it gotta be at least 170. Try charging in airplane mode. And last but not least never charge your phone on regular basis from a usb port
