Charging problem - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have my galaxy note 10.1 N8000, not powered on for so long. Aftr like three months i decided to power it on as i wanted to use it, sadly it did not... Other time it stucked in samsung logo not going any further. Now when i try to charge it only the battery icon appear in the middle of the screen but it won't give the charging animation just only tge battery icon... If i try to boot it keep on restarting and restarting just ending at samsung boot logo... Any idea wot could be the problem and how i can fix this

Try a 24 hour charge try a USB charge .

galaxy note 10.1 not charging + other devices...
first note .... I'm nt a developer or otherwise... but I have studied batteries for 3 years professionally ... and as I found out .. to re initialise your battery in this device ... ( I have done this several times ) you need to open the device and disconnect the battery... then reconnect it ... then just charge as nomal no special time ..button press needed ( for note 10.1 ) ... the problem arrises because the firmware cant boot with a flat battery correctly .. normally when a device is flat the firmware is set up to restart the devicwe when its re charged ... but if the device is left for a while or the battery is old .. 1 year plus ... ( yea its a fine threshold ) the device will not boot and end up in a loop or stuck on start up screen ... I have noticed his in a number of devices ...the only way out of it it is to charge the battery ... ...example in a nexus tablet you have to charge the battery via wires , inserted into the battery ( there are two ) ... then the device boots .. but if you let it go flat ... u have to repeat the process.. same in the note 10.1 ... you can actually charge the battery to full capacity as normal .. but the device still wont boot ( I verified this ) .. the only way round this is to charge it .. for a hour or so then .. open the device and disconnect the battery and reconnect ..... plenty tutorials on line ..easy to do ....3 screws and clip back off and disconnect ... reconnect .. charge and boot ... the prob seems to be as I said in the firmware in the device as when it was made tested they only used new battery's !! never a old one ... its one for developers to sort out ...oh btw I have not ever lost any data on the device ( photos .. accounts etc or anything by doing this ) hope this helps .. ...

Phone seems to be hard-bricked

Good day guys.
[EDIT] : The phone turned on now, it was just completely deprived of battery power ( I'm unsure how to delete this so I'm hoping a mod will see this and remove it as its a "false alert" )
I recently smashed my note 4 ( the seat of the car completely broke it in half, long story ), so I got a tablet that was laying around as a backup, A Samsung Tab 2 ( p3100 ), it was loaded with bloatware from my carrier so I decided to flash cyanogenmod 13 onto it... all went well and soon I booted into the new OS.
I installed the applications I needed from the play store no problem, everything seemed fine, I talked to some of my friends using the phone with absolutely no problems...
That's when I noticed it was getting low on power ( 2% ) , so I told them that I'm going to put it on charge and go to sleep ( this was well over 2 hours post-flash ) , as I reached for the charging cable, the phone showed me a blue face ( cyanogen's logo )
I proceeded to plug in the phone to charge ( thinking it was just turning off ) , but the blue guy stayed on for about another 1 minute, then the screen turned pitch-black.
( at which point the phone refused to turn on at all, no matter how long i press the power button )
I'm hoping I'm wrong, but it seemed to have hard-bricked, but seeing as the phone booted into the OS no problems etc. I'm hopeful...
Does anyone have any insights as to what's going on? can a phone brick even after extended use of the custom OS??
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks.

If it has the same behaviour in twrp,I guess its your battery that is at fault.

Accu battery app but it is not 100% accurate,it will just give you an approximation about the health of your battery.
Well as soon as i remove the charger from the phone ... it starts to restart ... and when i turn on the phone with charger its fine ... it means my battery is at fault ??? ... also there is no restart if the phone is in fast boot mode

Having this exact same issue with my phone. I was running Sultan's ROM and was getting 10-12 hrs of usage on a single charge.
Some forums and YT videos suggest replacing battery is the only option. Really surprised considering the fact that, it was giving me such good support.
dead batteries...replace the batteries and problem solved...

Samsung Galaxy Trend 2 Lite Infinite Samsung Logo Loop Help

Hello ,
I got the phone from the title . It has a really slow performance , from the low ram and storage , I guess . So today it turned off because of battery ,it was 0% . I try to power it on again in order to see the time and after that It turned off again (obviously) . I connect it to the charger and wait one hour in order to charge to around 50% . When I am trying to turn it on it just have an infinite Samsung logo loop . I know that I can fix it with the Samsung app but I want to save some files first . Is there any way to fix it ?
Thanks for your help !
