Hmmm. I'd just restore back to stock again, but using getting the stock images and running the .bat file.
Then install CWM again and try..
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=14
Choose the right version, and unzip, then put the phone in download mode and run the .bat
(If you are on Android 4.4, then I would recommend you stay on 4.4, but if you are on 4.3, stay on 4.3)
Good luck!
Hello, I installed the GPE 5.01 on my XT1032 and know it is not possible to return to KitKat. Is only possible return to the kitkat gpe. Only I have a problem, I can not install custom ROMs with CM12 for example. Can someone explain to me why it is not possible, and if you know please tell me.
The device has root and unlocked bootloader.
In TWRP appears the error:
"E: Error executing binary updater in zip '/ (name of ROM)
Error flashing zip '/ sdcard / download / (name of ROM)
Updating partition details ...
... done
i have same problem
Me three. Same problem here.
It's not only in the TWRP with me - I have tried changing recoveries few times, and every time its this error. Also tried flashing over the ADB sideload - no success.
I was with my xoom with stock rom 4.0.4 ( MZ605 / Brazil ) , with the unlocked bootloader and root , so I installed TWRP Recovery 2.7.1.0 touch , already had it installed , but installed this by up to update I gave the right wipes and tried to install 4.4.4 TeamEOS - The Revival || Nightlies ( full_everest_ta-eng-zach.zip ), but the following error appears
skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
symlink: some symlinks failed
E: error executing updater binary in zip '/emmc/full_everest-ota-eng.zach.zip'
Error flashing zip '/emmc'/full_everest-ota-eng.zach.zip'
failed
I tried to mount the internal USB to try to install another rom , but the TWRP is not riding the xoom on my notebook , and all xoom drivers are installed , I tried installing the original room for fastboot , but it does not recognize and can not that you start the process
Please somebody help me , my xoom is unusable and I'm desperate about it
I put another rom on my sd card, I gave the wipes and tried to install, but now it appears
Device is NOT bigpart partitioned...
I think I lost my device even

Maybe you need to follow this :

in order to make your device run bigparted Rom.
Hi, I've a problem with the latest TWRP recovery (2.8.7.0). When I try to install the cm12.1 (10/09 nightly) in recovery, it give me the error "E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/........zip' ". Can't install this package on top of incompatible data.
I'm able to install cm only after formatting data or with the Cyanogen recovery.
Any solutions?
Thanks!
P.S.: my bootloader is updated to 41.18
Hi,
Upgrading your bootloader to 41 1A is the solution... Anyway, which one have you? 1032/33/39...?
Hi, greetings everyone
im new in this phone, so first thing is
my poco x3 nfc is stock rom and
i just ubl Install TWRP v 3.4.0.15
and use custom rom name Corvus mutate Android 11
succes without problem
and then i move to havoc with clean flash
wipe data,cache,davlik
install rom > format data
success without problem
and 3 month later i want to move into Corvus again which is latest version is 16.7
so i decided to watch some tutorial on youtube and they told me to wipe data, cache, davlik

did i miss something? or first thing should i do?
thanks guys
i really need some help guys
I had the same thing this weekend trying to fix an issue i had. What helped with me is putting the image on an external SD card and flash from there.
When I saved the custom rom on the phone storage and flashed it from there, same failed to mount errors.
I have no idea why either, but worth a try maybe? My guess its something with the internal storage.
My procedure was:
Recovery - wipe dalvik and cache - format data - connect to PC, transfer FW and custom rom - flash FW: Succes - flash WaveOS: failed to mount. Reboot recovery - try to install, but WaveOS not on internal storage (empty). Connected to PC - transferred rom - install from internal - mount error. Reboot, again no image file on internal.
Afterwards transferred ROM to sdcard, selected it with install from storage; succes.

thats really strange for me , beacuse i have the same issue , but in order to fix it somone say it need update twrp , or the rom u try to install is no vendor
but its actually true that something broken in twrp that can't read/write internal before we finish wipe data, cache, dalvik
so that give error becus all system, vendor, product missing/can't read by twrp BUGGY,
so instead update my twrp i just flash stock rom and try again,
but this time i use OrangeFox
without FW flash And only flash rom corvus 16.7
success and format data > Yes > reboot.
there you go its success but the rom looks like buggy and its real bug or maybe i don't install FW before the rom? can u pls answer this << ? thanks.
so if u guys(all who got this error) still can in twrp and UBL u can just flash stock rom via Miui Flash / update twrp
really strange error for me

my phone now bootloop on fastboot
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/poco-x3-nfc-bootloop-fastboot.4365899/
Hello guys, I installed Pixel experience custom on my poco x3 a few weeks ago. After few days, I tried to update the PE custom from but it showed failed "error 1" so, I skipped and forget about the update and kept using the phone.
Yesterday, I decided to go back one MIUI. I downloaded MIUI for my POCO X3 EEA version. I couldn't install it too, as it always showed "error 1". and starting yesterday, the phone bootlooped in fastboot.
Today, I tried to install the Official Miui Rom using MiFlashtool but always the same issue. First I tried installing the global official rom, it didn't work, then, installing EEA version but same thing.
Someone here can help me on that matter please, I never get an idea in how to fix that issue.
Thank you so much in advance for your help

ur phone is still UBL or not? its really ez to flash via miflash if u dont have any problem with UBL, because if ur phone ubl u cannot do nothing except u flash it with EDL 9008 < this is what i read atleast
but for me personally its still always a hope , can u do another stock rom miui? try INDIA / INDONESIA / GLOBAL
HIGHLY RECOMEND IS GLOBAL / INDONESIA < BEST STABLE FOR NOW
the reason u update PE rom is what? did u install a dirty / clean flash? cuz no way u can calm and relax with dirty flash, ur emmc will be sad
pls note try another stock rom install via miflash < safest way without breaking
