Google Play Services Stopped - Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Guys, nowadays I started experiencing "Google Play Services Stopped". It has not happening before. I did not do any upgrade or install any software. I was suspicious about a couple days ago I was added a new google account for e-mail and after that the fault starts. I've already removed the account but I countinues happening. It is all random that when this happens, and seems no impact on running apps but the irritating popup.
How can I debug the issue?
Regards.

[Q] Google play services contant crashing

Hi Everyone, have an infuriating problem. A few weeks ago woke up to find Google play services constantly crashing. I mean like every 2 seconds crashing with a notification. I took me for ever to navigate to settings and roll back play services and play store to factory to get it to stop. Later i tired updating to see if was a fluke and same problem. now I'm stuck on the older play services which sucks cause i cant update any Google stuff cause it says i need the latest and just got my invite to Inbox and cant even use it. Has anyone dealt with this? I've cleared the cache for play services and play store but doesn't help either. Would really appreciate any help.
Thanks

Try a different GApps. I've solved that exact problem with Slim GApps beta.
OK. Though I'm running stock. Never had installed gapps to begin with

Google Fit crashing Play Services

Has anyone else been experiencing this? It's been happening for about a week.
This has been happening to me since Friday and google fit has not counted any steps since then either.
+1
Since Saturday for me. This morning I was getting the crash popup every few minutes, it was really annoying. I tried clearing the cache for the app, then all cache (only from within Android). Restarted my phone. At least I have stopped getting the crash error, but it's still not registering any activity.
There are lot of people reporting the same issue on the Goggle Plus "Google Fit Developers" community.
I cannot post the link directly.
Google Fit crashes Play Services
Started Friday evening for me. Strange as I don't believe there were any updates to Fit. Had to uninstall Fit from my phone.
Thanks guys. I've been worried that I corrupted something on my account.

Map stuck on "Google play services are updating" bug

Okay so I've done a little digging on the subject, and I've found that if I delete all data for Google play services, and then reupdate them, these maps that I'm seeing this error message displayed will work.
What's curious is that I've found if I alter these Google services in *any* way at all, for example, removing google play services permission for reading my sms messages, which has ZERO to do with maps, this error occurs once again, on those same maps within a couple of apps. On another device, I went in and only disabled services required to look for Google pay/NFC (I don't use any). This alteration also causes that same issue with maps !! The only fix is deleting all Google play services data, reinstalling the updates on the play services, and then not touching a freaking thing or permission. Perhaps the most bizarre aspect of all is that if I freeze play services entirely, those maps still work upon reenabling
What's all the more bizarre too is that Google Maps will display maps with zero issues with those same mentioned modifications made. It only effects maps within other apps, like my weather app for example.
What on earth is the meaning of this? All I'm trying to do is save battery but also stop some of the constant spying. Those services don't need access to my SMS messages. In fact I can have a perfectly normal operational conversation with Google play services frozen entirely.
Anyone have any advice on stopping some of the snooping without breaking completely unrelated aspects of other apps that don't even fully depend on these services to run in the first place? Only the map part does?
I know many might say just leave them running and who cares what it wants access to. But I do. If I can help it at all, I'd rather not be constantly freezing and unfreezing the services depending what I'm doing as that can get a little tedious.
I'd love to hear your takes on why these apps with maps function the way they do in this particular regard (especially when Google maps, the one that should be most closely dependent on play services, works no matter if services have been altered or not)

Okay, I thought I had the issue pegged but turns out not so much. This time, literally all I had done was hibernate GPS... Turned on airplane mode and went to sleep. Woke up and maps not working despite GPS being woken normally, like I had done for years with no issues.
I'm really starting to regret starting from scratch to declutter. Who would have ever thought starting over and using in the same manner as before would *break* something..... How frustrating

corrupt google framework cannot be fixed

Hi there guys. i have a problem which i noticed today. i will try to be very specific on what happened etc, so that i may get the best help possible.
I have a xiaomi mi note 10 pro, with miui global rom 11.0.16 running android 9.
i have it rooted (first phone i ever rooted).
i had android auto installed and also android auto enabler (what a great app, got it from xda). alla was working fine more the few months i had my phone.
yesterday i noticed that android auto wouldnt start.
i was getting a message "android auto requires one or more google play services that are not currently available".
This must have happened in the last 3-4 days, because iremember having opened android auto few days ago, and all worked fine.
well, first i tried downgrading android auto, uninstalling, reinstalling it, getting updates from google play and aptoide for google play etc, removing them, deleting cache, deleting settings restarting and all that.
no matter what,i got the same error. one or more google play services is not currently available.
i was really desperate. today, i noticed an app named google services.
i opened it and it says on top "gms installer"
under it, it has 4 names. (google framework, google service, play store, google maps). all have ticks, apart from google framework.
google framework states it is corrupt. i press the button there is to fix it, it starts fixing and it stucks at 94%. doesnt go any further. upon trying to restart, it gets stuck at 0%.
after clearing cache data and restarting phone, it gets again at 94%. i am thinking thatthis framework is the problem. and i cannot do anything to fix this.
searching on the internet, many had this problem with android auto. and many of them had the problem these last few days. any ideas what i could do? at least to install the framework again?
ps. i never uninstalled the framework. or google services, as i have read it is a very bad thing to do.
thank you

Google Assistant crashing randomly all the time since Android 12 on Pixel 3a

Since I upgraded to Android 12, Google Assistant is randomly crashing, mostly when asking a location question like "where is the next supermarket". It starts with "I have found severa-" and then just force closes.
I have found out, that opening Google Maps sometimes randomly makes it to work, but then 1-2 days later it starts to crash again. Also activating "ok google" command seems to fix it for a while, I disable it, working, but then some days later it starts to crash again.
Have tried to remove Google app, reinstall Google app, clear Google app data, install Google Beta App, nothing helped.
Here is a list of countless people having the same issue:

Anyone on here found out how to solve it? Factory reset also doesnt seem to fix it.
This is unbelievable, no official bug ticket so far it seems by Google, that they are even aware about the issue.
I have found out what is causing it and how to solve it. Read my reddit post on here how to fix it, who is affected by it:
