I purchased a Chinese clone phone (well I was scammed into) and it has a custom ROM on it.
I read this topic : [ROM][UNOFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 12.1 [5.1.1] Wiko DarkMoon [MT6582] and Clones
and followed the instruction to install CM on it
But, when I try to flash a recovery and go to recovery I get a black screen with some white lines (that looks like zig zag) and the phone boots to OS. No matter how many times I try the phone goes through the same process, and does not bring a recovery software.
The phone is rooter and I use "Flashify" app to flash a recovery. When I click "Reboot now" it reboots but does not bring the recovery
The phone specs are as follow:
Code:
Hardware: MT6582
Model: SM-G920F
Android V: 5.0.2
Can someone please help me?
thanks
This is how it looks
This is how it looks when I boot to recover :

Hi,
Please find below My Device detail of my Tab, recently I updated my Recovery to CWM 6.0.4.8 touch using this image file downloaded from cwm website "recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.8-fireball.img" using the tool flashify
The flash got completed and said it is success, but when i try to boot in recovery mode or hard boot into recovery mode, it doesnt get into recovery mode instead it boot the phone in normal mode and goes to home screen without any issues.
Problem: I am not able to boot into recovery mode which was working fine earlier.
Devise Info prior to updating CWM Flash to touch-6.0.4.8
(there was already a CWM as recovery without any version status as part OEM Product)

So I recently rooted my tablet and I attempted to install the binaries for Chainfire 3D, after that my tablet was stuck in a bootloop and I managed to get it into recovery mode. I have seen many solutions using ADB and SP Flash Tool but none seem to work. I attempted this earlier on my Samsung Galaxy S5 and it seemed to work perfectly well there.
Here's some extra information on the tablet:
Lenovo A7600-F
Android 4.4.2
Kernel 3.4.67
Build Number: A7600F_A442_000_029_150401_ROW
Status: Rooted and Bricked
Custom Recovery: No
Custom ROM: No
Custom Kernel: No
Hello,
I own a Smartfren Andromax C3 a.k.a. Haier AD6B1H with stock ROM (Android Kitkat 4.4.2) and rooted. Recently I'm trying to update my OS to cyanogenmod but there's no official support for my device, so I take a look at how to port recovery as the first step in cyanogenmod, xda university and koushikdutta site.
I follow the steps as told and success make a recovery.img file, but when I reboot to recovery mode it stuck at boot screen. I remove the battery, wait and put it back to the phone then try recovery mode again but the result is the same as before. Then I try normal boot and success boot to home screen and running as usual without problem. So I change the recovery to stock file and success boot into recovery mode.
How to make the custom recovery running just like the stock without stuck at the boot screen?
