Hello
I've got a Lenovo Yoga 2 tablet and did temporary root to remove some apps and install a new boot animation. However on installing a new boot animation the tablet won't boot up properly. It will start with the Lenovo splash screen and vibrate but that's it. After that the screen is either blank or goes white. I've tried all sorts of suggested solutions like holding power button and both volume buttons but that just goes to 'fastboot starting'. I've also tried Recovery but not sure what I'd be doing in it!!!
I reckon I've somehow deleted something but not sure what! So help would be greatly appreciated in Idiot's language please!!!
Lenovo Yoga 2 1050F
Lollipop 5.01
Thanks in advance.

Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. It's a bit hard to direct you properly without knowing all of the specifics, but a quick search allowed me to find this thread:
The Lenovo A706 Owners' Thread (Root/CWM/Other Discussions)
I'd suggest you take a look there, it has some really good information that can probably help you, and if you can't work it out you can ask some other A706 owners to see if they can guide you out of your problem.
Good luck!

I installed Mookee ROM but the touch screen was very much laggy and slow. So i installed MIUI OTA update file but phone is soft bricked now.
Can feel the vibrations and also hear the sound when the volume keys are pressed but phone does not boots up.
Tried for recovery mode also using hard keys and adb commands but no use. I can only feel the vibrations when i press the keys.
Please help to get back to normal so that i can flash any of the available ROM.
Thanks

i bricked my acer b1 a71 when i installed twrp using twrp magic maker. it flashed successfully but when it rebooted it just showed acer logo and thats it. whenever i turn it off just the logo appears and then blank screen. tried to go to recovery but i was only able to go to the first step where you have three choices 1.to go to recovery 2.to fastboot and 3 clean(boot) and whenever i choose one it just shows acer and blank screen. tried to reset it with the pin button but still nothing. my pc doesn't recognize the tablet whenever i plugged it in so thats another problem. i"ve studied all the solutions but they all start with a stock rom and that's the thing i don't have. anybody out here cna help me iwill deeply appreciate. thank you very musch.
