Dear Galaxy Ace 3 users, after days learning and learning, successfully compiled OmniRom 4.4 for our device. Credits go to @kotzir for his device tree and @duffycop for letting me use his computer by remote control.
OmniROM is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4.4 (Kitkat), which is designed to increase performance, reliability and features over stock Android for your device. It's also about options, which is the beauty of Android.

Hi @JavierAlonso Thank you for this ROM! It's very light and stable. Just one thing: I couldn't get it to install with TWRP 3.2.1 (or any other TWRP version really). It would always stuck on the boot logo.
Then I tried to flash it with CWM 6.0.5 and boom it worked!
It might sound strange, as you mentioned in your post that TWRP is a must, but believe me this is what happened to me:laugh:

Firts let me thank you for this awesome port of miui to our device. I have found bug that you haven't mentioned, Bluetooth is crashing. I hope you will fix sim bug so we can use this rom for daily use.

There're many apps that are force closing. We're trying to fix them; port a ROM is harder than compile from source.

Currently "

Trying to install, gets to "patching system image unconditionally" and gets stuck there. I'm on latest firmware and TWRP.

Besides the bugs it's honestly the fastest ROM i have ever used on my SHIELD, amazing job! Waiting for updates

Why so?
I have on my OPO COS13. 1.2 on primary and two nougat ROMs (ASOP, CM14) as secondaries.
Question is if this ROM build introduced the needed script changes to support multirom flashing and if kernel includes the kexec mod?

I think it's the way nougat loads the partitions, but CyanogenMod has probably already patched it
EDIT: Had this problem on osprey too :/

This is a very VERY highly WIP Oreo build for the Kyleproxx . Almost everything is broken.
I just want to release it for people who wants to help or test these builds. The ROM boots and the lockscreen comes up, but the home button doesn't work, no audio, etc... yet.
I'm currently using TWRP 3.0.2 on my dev-phone to install the ROM. Other versions of TWRP I haven't tried yet.
