XDA Developers as a Rule does not Reccomend a "Best Rom". You will have to try the Rom to find out if it is best for your usage pattern.

I bought a Amazon Fire 7'' six-pack to collect data for my research project...but the app we are using doesn't work with Fire OS 5 or Android 5. I need to install Android 2, 3, or 4.
My tablets are currently a mix of Fire OS 5.0.1 and 5.1.1. It looks like I can use RootJunky's SuperTool (can't post link because I'm a new user) to root both, but it looks like TWRP is only available for 5.0.1, for now.
I'm guessing my next step, for the 5.0.1 tablets, is to download a custom ROM that's close to Android 4 but works on Kindle 7 and install it using TWRP. It looks like I also need a custom bootloader? I'm wondering which ROM to use and which bootloader to use. Thanks!

I recently purchased the blu studio g plus when im logged in on here under my device is listed the blu studio 5 II
my question is are they the same phones i believe they are not the same i want to root my g plus but im not finding any info on how to root the g plus only the studio 5 II id be much obliged if i could be pointed in the right direction.

I'm new on the XDA forum ! I wanted first to thank the whole XDA community for their help.
I have a UHANS S1 android phone. It works on android 6.0 with FREEME OS (V3.5. 1_4). It has also the MediaTek MT6753 (1.3GHz) as processor.
So my question is : I want to root my uhans S1 but I really don't know how to begin it.
I've already "jailbreak" iphones in the past but never an android phone.
