Camera App on Cyanogenmod zoom problem - Other Tools & General Discussion

Hey guys I am using Samsung Galaxy Express 2 with Cyanogenmod 12.1.
Can anyone fix the camera issue?
I explain: I am unable to zoom with volume keys (or by touching) and if I download any app for taking photos I am unable to zoom too...
Can someone try to port Samsung Galaxy Express 2 Camera (or kinda) for Cyanogenmod 12.1?
What should I do?
It's very important for me, it's the only thing that I wish to fix because CM 12.1 is perfect for me but I really need this fix...
(NOTE for mods: not sure if this is the right section...please move this thread if not and sorry)

Same here. Why any one has not answer this, is very important. Also MTP usb connection not working! Any solution?

MiUi problem help

Hi,
i recently installed MIUI4G3 but i'm having some problems .
-My camera screen is all black i cant see what i'm taking photo of. i think what was not supposed to work was the preview, like after you take photos you can have a preview to choose saving or delete.
-Wireless discovery and signal meter is pretty slow and have no accuracy.
-Live wallpapers dont load..
-plenty of damn chinese or japanese (idk) crazy language.
-no swype =(.
Is there anyway i can fix any of this? please
thanks.
You can already fix the language problem by switching to another english, I use the UK one now

I am currently running the MIUI4G3 . The rom had an issue with the usb connectivity. I followed the steps which was given on their thread to solve the issue (by pushing the usbtoggle.apk into system/app folder). But now when I get into the download mode, odin is in not recognizing it. I want to revert back to kyrillos 10.2 . Plz help me.
First of all, it is not for daily use yet!

[Q] Cyanogenmod 10 with Touchwiz motion functionality

I recently installed Cyanogenmod 10 onto my S3 and it was brilliant. Everything I wanted from a rom, except the motions. I liked the Touchwiz motion controls and the screen controls (like taking a screenshot with a swipe or tapping the top of the phone to get to the top of a list). Is there an app out there or a rom similar to Cyanogenmod 10 with the added touchwiz-style functions?

I am on samsung galaxy s3 International build with cyanogenmod 10.1 Nightly version of 28th June 2013. I love the mod but these are the shortcomings I face:
1. Settings does not have the motion "menu" due to which I am not sure how to calibrate the gyroscope etc. Its all off.
2. Due to reason one My google maps navigation is misguided.
3. I am unable to send contacts via normal sms. A lot of my family members use normal phones which cannot understand vcf or don't have net so sending contacts is painstaking as I have to copy paste each detail to a text.
If anyone knows how to solve these issues do let me know. If not then atleast let me know what is a proper place to ask them ... maybe guide me to a complaint/suggestions section of cyanogenmod community of devs.

Cyanogenmod for Galaxy Note 10.1

Hi all,
I recently got my self a Galaxy Note 10.1 and I'm interested in rooting it and putting Cyanogenmod 10 on it...but I'm not sure on what will happen with the features like the s-pen. What are the pros and cons of Cyanogenmod on the Note 10.1 - do you advise it, not advise it, have you tried it, what did you think and are there any videos showing the difference between Cyanogenmod and stock touchwiz on note 10.1?
Thanks and sorry for the long winded question.

Hi,
I'm not an expert but I did try Cyanogenmod once it worked great, the only thing that it's not working for me is, the HDMI out cable.
So I flashed back to a rooted stock ROM
I didn't check that they make this work yet after I restore my older ROM
the pen and everything else was working great.
hope this help a little bit
Everything will work better than stock, but you lose a few features. SPen still works, but you lose the SNote, the Peel remote function, tethering has some problem at the moment password does not work, you lose the photo grabbing feature. Lose polaris office. Nothing happens when you take the pen out. My PC does not recognise it anymore for some reason now. But it works on another PC. Something when you type it makes mistakes. Sometimes charging icon freezes, it crashed a few times already. You lose the manage connected device when tethering.
Now the better part, it's a lot faster and snappy, bluetooth is much better, connects much faster. Equaliser does not crash anymore, even via bluetooth. All the apps that was getting the "package invalid"error, is gone. Skype now works, did not on stock. I am happy with the compromises so far.

I am also interested in Cyanogenmod but havent tried it myself on a tablet.
Can anyone confirm which of these features one would lose when flashing CM10.
Will Spen pressure sensitivity and palm rejection work? that is quite important to me.
I have the N8000 which has telephony and sms ability, does CM10 support it?
I have started 'weaning' myself off most of the stock apps and some features to see if I can live without them.
I've stopped using:
Quick apps and the feature when removing stylus (Don't miss it)
Stock Internet (replaced with Chrome)
Stock Gallery (replaced with Quickpic)
Stock video player (Use quickpic)
My Files (replaced with Solid Explorer)
Snote (Snote sucks there are hundreds of good alternatives)
Music Player (Stock is actually very good, I see Opollo is available in market now)
Video Player (I use quickpic)
Some of the features that I do like and use from stock are:
Screen snapshot
screen snapshot with quick editor (press and hold snapshot button, i use that editor alot)
Peel Remote
Samsung app Store
Polaris office
Video Maker
Camera
Contacts
messaging
Phone Dialer
Gapps
Can anyone confirm if those apps/features are working in CM10, or if CM10 has its own version or other better alternatives in the market.
*eagerly waiting to press thanks button*
My note 10.1 is coming today, got any tips on how to root it?
Is there a toolbox?

Tried it but went back to stock. I would suggest waiting for stable release. One issue that stood out when I tried it was touch input wouldn't register sometimes such as tapping near the time to bring up settings.

camera on cm 10.2

plz someone help i have noticed no camera app at all on the latest nightless of cm10.2 or the camera live tile in quick settings i had wiped data and everything even downgraded to cm 10.1 but still no use plz some one tell me what to do
CM had a little falling out with the developer of Focal camera so it is no longer included in the new nightlies but you can find it on the play store now as a stand alone app http://www.xda-developers.com/android/open-source-focal-camera-app-appears-in-standalone-form/
You could also switch to Cody's version of 10.2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391355 he currently still has both Focal and stock cameras.

[Q] [GT-I9500][SENSONICâ„¢HD RC-01] Am I The Only One?

Hello guys I'm a newbie here :cyclops:
I have a bug report related to Sensonic HD for Samsung GS 4 GT-I9500 since I can't post it in the original thread (like I said I'm new here).
The dev said the ROM is stable and I already flash it for my phone and I found several bugs including:
Camera crash
WiFi can't be turn ON
Camera error sometimes
Cannot use 3rd party camera app (the camera will display green color) Eg: Camera 360
Advance setting is inaccessable and settings will crash
The question is: Am I the only one who got all this? Whoever has the answer are welcome to give yours.
Thanks :fingers-crossed:
