Hi
Last week i bought a M2Dual for my wife.i rooted its stock 5.1.1 and also wanted to install Xposed on it.
After unsuccessful googelings and too many pages i looked in ,as a friend suggestion i flashed myown Z2 flashable zip(for xposxed fw)on it via TWRP that yielded me nothing but a bootloop!
Anybody ever having Xposed Framework installed on d2302 LP 5.1.1 ,...175 ?
I wonder not even a single thread on Xda talked about this matter!

It's well known that xposed will not work on stock 5.1 Sony on m2,t2u and c3 due to Sony screwing up its also why deodexing tools will not work. If you really want to run xposed you'll need to use either gaurav's deodexed Z1c port or linuxct's Z5-STYLE rom both in the m2 android development forum on here

Xposed any developer who can make the case xperia mobile m2 with lollipop, because it is the terminal that gives only bootlop hope someone will take my case, I'd be more than grateful and many users using the same terminal will be too first of all, Thanks :llorando: :cruza los dedos:
He is currently using the recovery of T2U
Xposed won't work on 5.1 lollipop on Xperia m2 and t2u bootloop is all you will get. deodexing tools won't work either. It's looking like it may never work either of you want Xposed you'll have to go back to kk

Try port deodex z5 style
Hi guys,I have problem,after I flash sdk v78 from this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811 ,I have bootloop. My android is 5.1.1 18.6.A.0.175
Firstly, the version you have flashed is for 6.0 marshmallow hence bootloop. Secondly and this is well known about 5.1 lollipop on m2 and t2u xposed will not work on stock 5.1 Sony lollipop due to corrupted services.odex file which makes it impossible to get xposed to work this also applies to all deodexing tools aswell if you want to use xposed use gaurav's deodexed Z1c port or linuxct's z5 style rom(also using gaurav's Z1c port) from on here in m2 android development both use 5.1 m2 as Base. Or there are a couple of deodexed z1 ports for the m2 on 4pda

There is no way to make it work on stock, you need the deodex patch or z5 style rom

I've posted on Sony support forum about the deodexing tools failing constantly and xposed refusing to work since 5.1 update and uliwooly one of the mods asked for more information so the problem can be escalated hopefully back to Sony I've posted a few links to threads on here regarding both problems. If anybody has any failure logs they could add it may start the ball rolling or just add your experiences

Unfortunately I deleted all logs, but I'll make some when I come back from work and post them in sony thread.
I'm positively surprised from sony in last year and their's support.

No problem I've posted the same on Facebook m2 development and discussion group and the g+ m2 community I was surprised when they asked for more information so they can escalate the problem fingers crossed as they are working on the update for us let's hope they fix it all as it may well be the last update we get.

I have good news(hopefully) from Sony, after informing them off the problems we've all been having since the 5.1 update with deodexing failing and xposed refusing to work and resulting in bootloops they have escalated the problem internally so hopefully as they are working on a update we may even get this fixed I'll keep you all posted or follow the link in the first post fingers crossed people.....

Is this a problem on ALL sony roms from Z2, Z3, Z5 etc .... ?? I have a Z3c and have read about xposed running on 5.1.1. Im a bit hesitant about trying it as this thread (link) mentions the corrupted sony odex files, but this thread (link) talks about Z3 compact bootloop which has been fixed.
No this particular problem only effects the m2,t2u and c3 as far as I'm aware. Corrupted services.odex file the embedded.dex file is invalid apparently. Z3c should be fine

I have now installed xposed v79 on my Z3C and its running great so far. The only issue so far is the setting called 'Quick Settings Managment', this does not work for me, i really wanted this to work as I did like the quick pulldown feature to show the settings on the notification panel, but the Z3C can do this from 2 finger swipe down.

Tried installing several sdk's no good news all ways bootloop ,so have anyone found how to work xposed on d2303 5.1.1 stock rom, without installing ported z2 or z5 style
Not possible I'm afraid you'll have to go back to KK then. Why do you think these two roms are so popular it's the only way you'll get a 5.1 deodexed rom capable of running xposed on the m2,t2u and c3 this is a well known problem with 5.1 in these 3 Xperia devices. If you'd used the search button or looked through other M2 threads on here or anywhere else you would know this.

It's impossible to have Xposed in our stock rom which is Sony fault. That's why I use Xperia 4.6 Rom.
Xperia M2,Xposed,Xperia 4.6 Style,2.0 Cam,Deodexed,Xposed Modules, and more.
