[ROOT][new][SM-T53x-SM-T33x] ROOT without a PC on Tab 4 10.1&8.0 . Knox 0x0. - Galaxy Tab 4 General

Hi . I present new method to get Root with last build of KingRoot . Main advantage is KNOX 0x0 . And then if you want you can to change him to superSU .
Get Root without a computer, on any version of Android, you can use the latest (4.62 as of this writing) version KingRoot. Complete information here KingRoot http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/one-click-root-tool-android-2-x-5-0-t3107461 . (Read required).
So what we need to do to get Root .
Download the installation program KingRoot v.4.62
Attached below .
Turn on : debugging via USB, boot from unknown sources, and Wi-Fi.
Then install and run the program Kingroot. You make a couple swipe up and click on "Try". Next, the program also checks the possibility of installing Root , and eventually appear at the bottom of the key "TRY TO ROOT". Hit it, and wait patiently for the end of the process. Screenshots are in OP KingRoot thread .
For T337A owners : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64747325&postcount=14 and
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/general/rooted-nk2-att-t377a-t2992639
If there is a need to replace Kinguser to superSU, it is easy to do using the Super-Sume http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/paid-software/supersu-please-t3110954 . Working version 9.1.9 SuperSU Me-Pro .
For 5.1.1 owners you must to try Super-Sume build 9.2.6 or above . Notice for 9.2.6 build :
SuperSU Me Pro v9.2.6 Patched
What's New
- Please leave a review, I need to hear from you
- Updated SupeSU to v2.52 to support newer Android builds
- Hopefully this will help with Stage 2 hanging for some users
- Kingo root users, on Stage 2 the app might hang, just force close it and run it again..
- Watch for SuperSU to prompt you for root access at re-launch
- Yes you will now be prompted for SuperSU to update binaries, just choose Normal.

Sorry , but this impossible . Knox is changes when are system changes (root , new recovery, new kernel etc)

Fyi, I just ran this on my verizon tab4 10.1 lte (smt537v) and it worked after first reboot, but after running super su me and rebooting, it is stuck in a boot loop. I can still get into download mode so I should be able to flash a factory image through Odin when I have a computer in front of me as long as the computer will recognize the device. So be careful because I followed the directions correctly and ended up screwing things up

I rooted without a computer with kingroot like you said in the op. Verified root, then followed the instructions for super sume and rebooted after updating su binary. And yes it's running 5.1.1. I downloaded the first super sume version you posted in the op before that new version was posted. I'll try to recover the tab when I have access to a computer

Thanks, I may need some help if the computer doesn't recognize the device because of debugging or the bootloop it's in. Before I rebooted, it was in debugging mode but I'm not sure now. I've been playing around with Samsung stuff for a while now (rooting, flashing, some build Prop editing, etc) but I'm no pro. I pretty much just research and follow directions. I'll find out if I need help when I hook it up to the computer. Thanks again

Dont worry . Simply flash your firmware via Odin .

I checked now - this method successfully works on Tab 4.8.0 too !:good:

Thanks for the post. Works with my SM-T530NU. 0x0

Tried this on my galaxy tab 4(sm-t337a) and get a "System software not recognized by AT&T has been found on your tablet..." Error on boot.. Guess i'm pretty much screwed because the firmware files for this tablet have not been released yet
Edit: N/m look for CocaFoca's rooting nk2 thread and flash his boot lp fix to the tablet and it will fix it

Did you try running the motochopper or the Xperia_L_Root script again?
Delete SuperSU and maybe try again. And please tell if any errors occurred during the running of the script(s).

I did root once again using Xperia_L_Root script and before doing that I had uninstalled SuperSU.
Also, there was a problem while rooting. The script said 'Failure' somewhere but still it continued and also said the Exploits were pushed successfully

Have u tried using motochopper only?
Update SU from play store (don't open yet) and install Busybox. After installing busybox, open SU. SU will recognize busybox and install the binaries!
If this dosen't work then use motochopper again.
I just ran that script once again, it works now. Thanks

Hey Navneet thanx,,,,,, The problem is solved.... Here are the steps that i followed
uninstalled super user from my device
rooted the phone with motochooper
Installed superSu (when you root with motochopper you will already have super user installed on your device but the binaries were not installed so instead what i did was installed SuperSu of chanfire so that i will get a conflict message and the chainfire will unstall the default super user and update the binaries for me.
And Bingo! Luckily it worked...............

Welcome glad to help
Almost the same problem as above but not really
Hello guys! My name is Vlad, this is my first post here and this is my first time trying to root a phone. I got a little problem so I would really appreciate if you could guide me a bit step by step out of it.
I have a Sony Xperia L phone and I have tried to root it using an app that uses Motochopper exploit, downloaded from this link:
htt p:// ww w.4shared.com/zip/6WyYYjpCce/Xperia_L_ROOT .html
delete the spaces in order for the link to work. Sorry for not respecting the rule but there would be no other way to show what I used
It seems to work but I have an error that occurs at the end:
"Rooting phone...
This may take a few minutes.
Failure.
Cleaning up...
Exploit complete.
Press enter to reboot and exit."
I have tried the ideas mentioned until now: reboot, reinstall, update, etc. but nothing seems to work. Any idea to help me please?
P.S. I am not trying to offend anyone by saying this but if I need to use some program to install something complicate please explain me as I am a beginner into this.
Thank you!

There is no way you can get back TA partition if you lost the backup too. But its just for some warranty and DRM purposes. It shouldn't affect the user experience in general. As for Whatsapp and other updates, its completely unrelated to rooting or TA partition.

I was having the same issue with vroot 1.7.7 auto updating I went as far as to do a system restore on my of to delete vroot and unplugged
the modem. Huge thanks for this guide shinyside.
I con.quer
Despite kind of clumsily clicking through, I managed to get her rooted/Verified with root checker from the Play store/Installed Titanuim Backup pro and froze a ton of useless apps - Runs fine and kind of nice to be able to freeze things. I did disconnect the wifi connection from my pc before I did the install of VRoot and I never had an issue FYI.
it failed. I tried several times. Can you guys help?
when connecting the tab it takes 10 minutes to establish the usb connection. after clicking the root button it takes another 10 minutes. meanwhile the chinese app shows a green field the a blue field and so on.
can you guys confirm that behaviour? thanks.

root issue
So I accidently updated and ran 1.78 file as opposed disconnecting my Internet and run 1.7.7. It was successful but i am getting su not found when running from android emulator terminal. Am I screwed to fix this? I did factory default tablet not it doesn't update 1.7.7 anymore..I could not understand the Chinese wording but clicking on green button it doesn't update like I saw finished when I did it on 1.7.8 version. When I rebooted, i checked root checker of course it's not rooted. Can anybody assist me?
I ran this root, which went well...random question, will the root hold if I do the system updates? I know some do, some don't. Figured I should ask before updating at all. If it won't hold, do we have a source for the updates?
so i have vroot 1.7.7 but still get the bluescreeen with a x meaning its not successful what am i doing wrong?

I kept, having the same problem, it's because of the August update.
You need to revert to the previous update. You can go to sammobile dot com and get the previous firmware for your tablet. Get the latest firmware that does not have Kies. Instructions for how to install it onto your tablet are on sammobile. You'll use Odin 3.09, and once you've flashed the previous frimware, turn off any wifi connection on your tablet so that it doesn't re-update. Then root using the method in this forum and you should be good.

LRA ☆SM-G920R6☆ Root without tripping Knox Counter

Hi. I'm finally can root my SM-G920R6. I use the KingRoot.apk the v4.80 and root the phone. But it's not full root. Them I use the SuperSuMe.exe on my PC to remove all the KingRoot app and install the official SuperSu.apk The program install it's self. And now we can install the correct binary and reboot the device and don't lose root... ohh and my Knox still 0x0... =) XD:laugh: :victory: :highfive:
Links:
●KingRoot v4.80
●SuperSuMe. for PC
Sincerely I don't know if full root or not. But for me is working. And other things I don't know is full knox disabled. The SuperSuMe block the knox in one of the process but I don't know if is disabled at all or not.
I wish this can't help all the SM-G920R6 user. And don't want to avoid the knox warranty.
The only thing you can see is every time you BootUp your phone it say Custom.
The next thing I'm going to do is make a full backup with FlashFire app because mi firmware not appear in SamMoblie. If one Dev can make something with this backup for make custom roms or something good for this devices model.
my phone info:
Android Version : 5.0.2
Baseband : G920R6WWU1AOE4
Build Number : LRX22G.G920R6WWU1AOE4
Hardware Version : G920R6.02
I'm not a good English speaker so I apologize my errors..
P.S.
Sorry I'm not a Dev. this is my first Thread and I do this for helping.
This is a little off topic for the op but I really need help right now.. I rooted with CF autoroot for G920F no problem then installed TWRP 3.0.2-1 zeroflteusc also built for G920F model and in the process of trying to find a better rom as soon as I had a custom recovery, me (being a dumba**) accidentally wiped my internal storage to do a clean flash of a rom therefore deleting the only backup I had. I've only been able to find the factory binary for this device which I flashed but it had literally nothing exept for basic testing software and a simple ui to run it. It was also stuck on Android 5.0.2 but I found a compatible rom with AllianceROM v1 with update v2 flashed for the G920F but I can't find any way to update past 5.0.2!! I've been trying to find a way to update somehow for weeks but nothing is compatible with my device and I'm stuck. Would someone that has my model running on Android 5.1.1 or 6.0/.1 please install the TWRP I mentioned before and make a backup of the system, modem, efs, and boot and post it online or send it to me it would be a lot of help.

Because my device is G920R6 originally and i want it back the 920F rom is barely compatible with my device as is and i want a stable rom made for my build and also to enlighten others of how i rooted this phone and what custom recovery is working for me. Even on 5.0.2 and an unstable rom my battery lasts 6+ hours of constant use so root is working fine for me.
So much hate.
yeah i see now this model phone is the ugly duck....
But some one have the factory firmware of this model flashable with odin. Thanks a lot.

yeap.. but when I install the recovery the phone gave a glitch.. its flipping the touch response inverted.. and the only fix is with root. and use the app. phone info.apk for Samsung and use the secret code with root because it is blocked on the dialer.
but i have the backup for the new firmware. not the android 5.0.2

That's exectly what I need I'm stuck on 5.0.2 and I want to upgrade back to 6.0.1 it's mainly the bootloader I need because no other marshmallow bootloaders work for this phone and the one I have is only for 5.0.2

PLAY POKEMON GO WITH ROOT SWITCH NEW METHOD (CANT BE PATCHED)
i did this on my samsung s7 edge g935f and have not tested on anything else but should apply across the board realy

u will need to have your phone at stock with no root and pokemon go working on that stock rom
(been trying on lots of note 7 port roms with no look hopefuly crack that one day)
IF U ARE NOT DOING THIS ON A SAMSUNG INSTALL TWRP ON YOUR DEVICE AND START AT STEP 5 IT WILL WORK
AND I MANAGED TO GET THIS TO WORK WITH EVERY COUSTEM ROM TO IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE ME TO ADD SUPORT FOR THAT PLZ LET ME KNOW
STEP ONE
download all files
no-verity-opt-encrypt-2.1.zip
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6bGIsDu5O5pV3JkX2JUV290MEU/view
systemless super su
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6bGIsDu5O5pbWNHSFJEQjhLY2s/view
coppy them two to a micro sd card and put in your phone
samsung smart switch for pc
http://www.samsung.com/uk/smart-switch/samsung-desktop-app.html
twrp for g935f ONLY
download the one for your device
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6bGIsDu5O5pMnRfRmxUYThWZ1E/view
odin
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6bGIsDu5O5pbGlobkVTZWFkYmM/view
for use on pc
STEP TWO
on your phone go to settings/about phone/software info/ and tap the biuld number 5 times to unlock developer options
and and go into developer options turn on usb debuging and and oem unlock
STEP THERE
install smart switch (only used for the phones drivers) and extract odin and run it click on the ap tab and load the twrp and click start
and instal twrp and w8 for reboot and boot stright to twrp (vol-up and power and home)
STEP FOUR
insatl no-verity-opt-encrypt-2.1.zip in twrp from the instal tab and reboot after and instal pokemon go and test it (if working carry on)
STEP FIVE
boot into twrp again and go to the backup tab. untick everythin but boot(40mb) select storage as sd card and swipe to back up then reboot
on your phone go to myfile and go to sd/twrp and find your backup it will begin with a date and rename that folder to stock
STEP SIX
boot back into twrp and install super su system less DONT reboot.
go back and backup boot only again then reboot
go to myfile again and go to sd/twrp and find your backup it will begin with a date again and rename that folder to root
not u can switch between stock and root just b flashing tho boot files and takes seconds
i have been useing this for days now and u can istall as mennt root apps as u like aslong as u flash the stock boot it will allways let u use any app thats blocks root
thank you this is the fist time i have releced my of work due to not being able to read and wright
Got it working on the note 7 port Rom
I'm on a Note 5 and going to give this a try using my version of TWRP. Will edit this post and report findings!
Able to boot after flashing the first .zip. Always got boot loop previous after flashing TWRP but not flashing root! Thanks for the solution!
Basically the minimum I want is the ability to remove my boot sound and update my hosts file. This lets me do that but otherwise be stock. Good enough. Wish I had xposed, root, but still Android Pay and PGO without reboots but that's ok.

Can anybody confirm that this is true for me? I haven't seen anyone else mention this.
Hello, I would like your help.
First of all, sorry for my poor English.
I installed the Root Switch to use Pokemon Go, but my phone crashed and rebooted while I played. After that, I was not able to activate root again, including the SuperSU app says my cell does not have Root.
Does anyone know how I should proceed? Would redoing root solve my case?
Thank you.

Yes that's correct
It looks like the Root Switch has stopped working, at least here on my S4 I9505 with Android 5.0.1.
Anyone else going through this?
Root Switch never work on my G900T S5 with Lollipop 5.1.1
There was a safetynet update last week that breaks RootSwitch. Had to go the Magisk route but now can use Android Pay along with PoGo

Thanks hernankano for the super easy steps,
but it seems that I rooted my G532F with your G532M root file/method. however the problem is that i get this message everytime my device boots (set warranty bit = kernel (0))
I feel something wrong happened in here.
Any advise?

Do not worry is normal, it is because the boot file that flashed, this does not affect the use of the phone
