i have the galaxy a from korea and i was wondering if the galaxy s roms will work on galaxy a

hi there, I bought Samsung galaxy s2 I1900G , now i m confused that the roms which are compatible for samsung galxy s2 I1900 are they also compatible for I1900G. because i dont want any brick issue .. plus tell me should i follow same procedure to root my device as there is for s2 I1900 .. Thanks
