So I have an LG Sunset running Android 5.0.1 and I have rooted it using Kingroot. I tried to flash a custom recovery and now it's bricked. I can enter recovery mode (or whichever mode lets you factory reset) but I can't enter download mode to install the stock recovery. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I messed with root files thinking "I can just go fastboot and flash it if i need." Sadly I think this phone has no fastboot. Computer doesnt detect phone in recovery but it tries to detect it as it is bootlooping. Not enough time for it to detect fully or to adb install something.
Does this mean my phone is straight up bricked?

I wanted to install a new ROM on my phone but my recovery is corrupted. I had flashed it with twrp recovery. I tried doing it again but it doesn't show my device in cmd.

Hello,
I just flashed TWRP from this link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/letv-x800-ruschrom-1-0-25e-t3224702) and i can reboot into recovery. When i choose a zip file to install, like superSU to root, I swipe the screen and nothing happens. I keep swiping and it doesn't seem to accept it. Any ideas? I'm on letv x800 5.03S
Thanks,
Aref

Phone: Huawei G8 Single Sim (Vodaphone carrier)
after installing the unofficial cyanogen mod ROM and installing TWRP for my device, when holding down the power button & also trying through fastboot, i always seem to go to the EMUI recovery and not the TWRP one.
I have tried the following.
>using power button and volume up
>booting into recovery through fastboot (also trying this straight after flashing)
My phone is unlocked and rooted i have also tried flashing through the twrp app and flashify but get an error along the lines of failed to copy files.
The only way i have been able to get into twrp us by using the command "fastboot flash boot twrp.img" which then boots the phone into twrp.
Any help would be much appreciated.
