[Volume Boost + Headphones Boost] Soundmod - Xperia M2 Dual [Kit Kat]

Requirements:
1. Rooted Xperia M2 [4.4.4] With 18.3.1.B.0.18 Firmware
2. X-plore or any other file manager with root folder access
Procedure:
1. Extract and replace the 4 "mixer_paths" in root/system/etc
2. Change the permissions to rw-r--r--
3. Restart your mobile
Note:
I won't be responsible if anything goes wrong.
I'm also providing the stock xml files if you want to revert back to the original settings.
If you experience any distortion please tinker around with xLoud & ClearAudio+ settings in the sound section.

Just alter the values in the mixer path xml thats all this does I think. Just don't go much higher than 90 I think it is. Download the file open it see what's changed then do the same to yours but make a backup copy first so you can change it back

There is the Soundmod for 5.1, i only compare the files and edit the values, the files from KitKat are very similar but in 5.1 are only 3 and have more lines.

I'm using customised NCB 5.1, not had any problems with it myself. Good battery life after its had time to settle down after updating, good camera good everything apart from no Working xposed.

On screen how many hours you get bettry time??? And the camera quality as everyone reporting after update is good or noisy??

Never get less than 5-6hrs of screen time on a full charge which easily lasts all day. The only problem with the camera is if you look at images zoomed right in otherwise for me at least there better in every way.

We already know, not that I've got any problem with 5.1 to be honest apart from the corrupted services.odex file making deodexing and xposed impossible(yes I know about the deodexed patch)

There is no way to make it work on stock, you need the deodex patch or z5 style rom

Won't work due to Sony screwing up services.odex file t2u is the same it results in no deodexing tools will work and xposed will never work unless you use either gaurav's deodexed Z1c port or linuxct's z5 style rom which uses the same port.

Deodexing/xposed problems and Sony support

I've posted on Sony support forum about the deodexing tools failing constantly and xposed refusing to work since 5.1 update and uliwooly one of the mods asked for more information so the problem can be escalated hopefully back to Sony I've posted a few links to threads on here regarding both problems. If anybody has any failure logs they could add it may start the ball rolling or just add your experiences

Unfortunately I deleted all logs, but I'll make some when I come back from work and post them in sony thread.

No problem I've posted the same on Facebook m2 development and discussion group and the g+ m2 community I was surprised when they asked for more information so they can escalate the problem fingers crossed as they are working on the update for us let's hope they fix it all as it may well be the last update we get.

I have good news(hopefully) from Sony, after informing them off the problems we've all been having since the 5.1 update with deodexing failing and xposed refusing to work and resulting in bootloops they have escalated the problem internally so hopefully as they are working on a update we may even get this fixed I'll keep you all posted or follow the link in the first post fingers crossed people.....

Is this a problem on ALL sony roms from Z2, Z3, Z5 etc .... ?? I have a Z3c and have read about xposed running on 5.1.1. Im a bit hesitant about trying it as this thread (link) mentions the corrupted sony odex files, but this thread (link) talks about Z3 compact bootloop which has been fixed.

No this particular problem only effects the m2,t2u and c3 as far as I'm aware. Corrupted services.odex file the embedded.dex file is invalid apparently. Z3c should be fine

I have now installed xposed v79 on my Z3C and its running great so far. The only issue so far is the setting called 'Quick Settings Managment', this does not work for me, i really wanted this to work as I did like the quick pulldown feature to show the settings on the notification panel, but the Z3C can do this from 2 finger swipe down.
