Good evening XDA community, could anyone be as kind as to inform me of any known roms in the S6 section that also will work for the G920a. They're only seems to be about 3 roms compatible with this particular variant. thanks!

As we all know,there is 2 derivative of One S.S3 1.7ghz vs S4 1.5ghz.
As far as Custom ROM,is the ROM same for both platform??(EG:ROM for S4 flash into S3 and vice versa)??
The answer to this question will be one of the main deciding factor
Unfortunately,my region's One S come with S3 i think
From what i have read on this forums various threads, few people have said that it should work on both, though i haven't tested it yet myself because i am happy with stock at the moment.
My country has S3 as well and i have to say that it's a cracking phone, works like a charm.

My guess is that there will be no issue regarding roms except for the kernel, assuming both models (S3 and S4) have the same partition tables. Since kernel is the one that controls hardware you'll have to flash your corresponding kernel .
Isn't the screen resolution different as well? (720HD on S3 vs. QHD on S4)

i am a "developer" and i bought recently a galaxy tab 2 Wi-fi version for 200 euros,but I see that exists two versions.
Wifi and Wifi+3G, are they equal ? The same costums rom will work on both ?
I will ask some more questions after i got that awsner.

Don't know all the details but I can tell you ALL the devs that make ROMs for these devices maintain seperate builds for the 3G version versus the wifi only version.
From what I have worked out so far is there are separate roms for three 5100-3g and the 5110-wifi & 5113&-wifi american version is the later two have IR Blaster and the 5100 3g doesn't and they can't seem to find a workaround for it so far as far as I can tell theres different roms because of the wifi&IR Blaster and 3g differences in the stock roms,this is just my observations from reading the forums I don't have any development knowledge at all

Can someone make a s5 style rom for the sprint galaxy s4 sph_l720t that has things like the system ui and the ultra power saving mode i know those features and many others can work on the s4 because ive seen many s4 roms for verizon like that i just want one that is for sprint because i dont want to mess up my phone by installing a rom i know you can install verizon rom on the sprint s4 but i dont like it that you have to go to all this trouble including getting a aftermarket sms app i want a rom that works for the sprint s4 without all the trouble

Then perhaps you should take the initiative and create your own rom? Anyone can do it with a little homework first. This section has many guides and tutorials that will help you from beginning to end,

I used to use Cyanogenmod. Recently I've been looking to put my Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-920F on Cyanogenmod 13.
I'm not totally set on Cyanogenmod but I would really like to try out some 3rd party ROMs. Anyone know any that are close to functional on android 6. I've been looking around and the versions I've found of cyanogenmod have a list of missing features. The other ROMs I've found are on Android 5.1.1.
I'm not concerned if theres a few things missing on the features list.
Any thoughts guys, what are you guys using.
I used to stick with the Cyanogenmod ROMs as well until I got my 920F.
I've played with a few of them, but I'm currently showing the CarHDRom some love along with the Twisted Kernel V10.
The Pixel ROM is also worth a look.
I'm no expert but I know what I like.

I have looked around, and call me clueless, but I still don't understand if there are or what ROMs are floating around for the snapdragon version of the S7. Does anyone know if there are any? And if so, is there a single, more popular one that is more likely to work well?
And if someone wanted to start development for building a Nougat build, where would one start?

I wonder why Snapdragon variants have no AOSP ROMs. Before S7 Exynos based devices have no community support.
