You don't have to backup whole thing. It's just a file in /system/etc named audio_policy.conf
So copy the orginal file before you flash this. If it's not working, you can re-copy the file..

so i flash the attach and its fixed my issue
note : attach is only for android pie rom mod by me "bcz in pie the path is change to vendor"

First i thank you for your patch and effort.
I have few questions and hope you might help to provide some answer or guide.
1. Does this patch works on android 10?
~~ I have tried but my issue still persist.
Here is my issue:
While playing a music, I launch the phone dial pad and start to press the numeric key.
On each press, I will hear there is cracking sound when the key pad tone is pressed.
This does not happen if I repeat the same steps without playing the music.

You can do this for any ROM by modifying res/values/unrestricted_packages.xml within ContactsProvider.apk and adding:
<item>com.facebook.katana</item>
as one of the strings.

I guess I was pointing out that it wasn't something exclusive to CM. If you need help making this work for you, let me know which ROM version you need this for and the method(s) for transferring files on your phone that you're familiar with (ADB/CWM/etc). I'll try to get something up if somebody else doesn't beat me to it in the meantime.

Unfortunetly Android-Andi will not update his roms anymore because of rude behavior of other devs so it's very sad... Big thanks to him for his work!

As he says, some dev has taken his SE policy github work without giving proper credits. So as of now, Unfortunately, Android-Andi has stopped his contribution to Tab2.

Shame, ya i feel him there because he has done loads of work for the tab 2 which i feel his contribution for the tab 2 was not respected by others.
And the dev that did this?
But that is going to happen. Should the open source community suffer for this? I personally feel it takes strongwill to forgive. Everyone knows Andi has great skills and talents and that's what matters. His respect is not going anywhere if somebody does not credit his work properly.

Doesn't really matter at this point.
Now i remember that even in his own cm-12 thread i think someone was posting patched kernels and roms that he built from Andi's commits.
It is huge loss for Tab 2 community if @Android-Andi decides to abandon from this device development. He is great developer and his Lollipop based ROMs generally look promising. Moreover his previous work is outstanding.
What is going on with hero of the tab2 Android_Andi?
I hope Android_Andi not go from our old device....

I tried every rom all may not be latest every developer is making well roms i found mokke not detecting sim card and remaining all perform similarly because all are nightlys some are having some bugs which are not in other mow am using sokp it is also having bugs but good for normal daily usage

Hey guys its been a long time since I've been on xda. So I'm currently running lollipop and just want to clarify a few things if that's alright with you guys. Firstly does anyone know if doze mode works on this build because i was really excited about this feature. I also want to ask one more thing. Do you guys use the adoptable storage feature? If so how are you finding it and are there any bugs with it. That's it guys sorry for the long post but i hope i get some feedback of you guys. Thanks for reading.
No, doze isn't there.. also, the adoptable storage works fine.. but like we could move ONLY SOME APPS to the SD Card in previous android versions, it is the SAME to be honest... am using it currently.. but it can help save some space for new apps...
The only problem is, we still can't choose to directly download apps to the Ext SD.. like if you download a big game, like FIFA 15 or something, it won't get downloaded..
Also, you may like to know that the Camera doesn't work in the latest alpha(ALPHA 3) as of now

Hello. I want to apologize in advance for my bad English! I have a huge problem. Last night I wanted to put the tweak Commcenter, but because it's incompatible with my iOS 6.1.4, I assigned the SystemVersion file 6.0 (and the version code for my model). Then I tried to install this tweak and oh god. My iPhone is frozen. He did not react to any action. Then the iPhone started to reboot, the download bar appears, then it reboots again. I do not want to lose iOS 6, so I ask you to help me with this. I want to note that my computer does not see the phone in Recovery mode. (in the DFU mode, the iPhone is not included). I had an idea to put a normal SystemVersion file through the iFunBox, but I can not do it ... Maybe I need to remove the tweak Commcenter (that is, I need to restore the iPhone via SemiRestore), but this program also does not see my iphone. I'm looking for knowledgeable people who will really help me .. There are a lot of expensive photos and documents for me on the iphone. P.S. Better start reading up on GSI and how to handle them first. No one might be able to elaborate on the pros, cons, and problems at hand in full depth for sure. Would take days to get those things explained to someone who's new. Modding in the end still is based on the willingness of a thorough self study about new ways and there basics, of those who want to use and try those ways out.
If you read up on it, and got some more context, it would be possible to helping there are specific questions on the details. But it ain't possible to explain everything, due to the massive changes.
