Chrome and Play Store stopped working - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6

I was browsing facebook on my phone the other night. It was time for bed so I put my phone down and went to sleep. The next day, I could not longer connect to the play store and could not use Google Chrome. This is all via wifi. Chrome says my phone is set up to use proxies, but can't connect. I never set up a proxie on my phone. Facebook still works just fine, and so does my BofA app, but Wells Fargo doesn't. What could be causing some apps to be able to access the internet, while others can't?
Apps that work:
Facebook
BofA
Google Maps
Drive
Geico
Samsung+
Snapchat
Apps that don't work:
Chrome
Google Play
Gmail
G+
WalmartOne (the app for us employees to view schedules and paystubs)
Wells Fargo
Youtube
Once again, this is all via wifi and happened overnight. Everything works fine on 4G.

And now it won't even boot into safe mode. It just loops back and then boots into regular mode. Tried all 3 different methods of getting into safe mode on none worked.
EDIT: finally got in, but still the same issue. Some Google services work, some don't. Chrome still saying it can't connect to the proxie server even though I never set such a thing up.

phone not receiving sent links/apps

whenever i download an app via android market web store, or send a link from chrome to phone, my phone will NEVER receive it.
it has worked flawlessly before, but seems to have stopped after i rooted.
any way to fix this?
phone: nexus s
Sending links to your phone requires an app called Google Chrome To Phone. You need to start up the app and agree to the terms before it will receive links, so give that a shot, even if you feel you have done that before.
Both sending links and having apps automatically installed rely on a Google Talk connection. You'll want to also check if Talk is connected as well.

i've used chrome to phone many times before, and have uninstalled/reinstalled on desktop and phone, logged in with another account, and nothing is working! i've also downloaded many apps from android market web store with no issues until recently when i rooted.
and it worked before without me being signed into google talk.
Try to reinstall the market can work in it
You may want to make sure you can log into Talk just to confirm the talk connection is working for things other than push. But if you know that already works...
I think it's time to go back to your Nandroid backup you took before rooting. If you're using a custom ROM, it may also be worth taking a backup and going back to stock to see if that improves the situation.
Then when you try rooting again, just test C2DM every now and then to isolate the step that causes things to stop working properly.

i had same problem try to reinstall market
lol I have no idea I'd my talk connection is working or not. when i launch talk, there is a little 'x' button beside 'Offline' under my gmail account, and when i sign in, the 'x' button is still there, although i have seemed to sign in. i dont have any contacts in google talk so i cant test if its properly working.
will try redownloading market to see if that works as well, thanks!
ill save unrooting to a last resort i guess :/
update:
ive tried redownloading market, but nothing changed. when i downloaded an app from the android market on the desktop, i didnt receive it on my phone, although the button said 'installed' on my computer.
i've also tried removing my account from the phone, and then downloading an app. the market (on desktop) still said 'installed' when there wasn't any phone linked to the email...
honestly i have no idea how to fix this.

Google Play Store app "No Connection" and other issues with the Tronsmart CX-919

Google Play Store app "No Connection" and other issues with the Tronsmart CX-919
I seem to be having too many issues with my new Tronsmart CX-919.
Issue #1... The Google Play Store (app) gives me a "No Connection" and won't connect at all anymore. Worked fine for a few days and now nothing. I still have perfect wifi connection because I am able to use the Stock and Chrome Browsers & weather works too. Just the Store App doesn't work anymore.
I have even reset back to factory and it works for a day or so and then again goes back to "no connection".
Issue #2... When I am using the Stock or Chrome browsers I keep getting security certificate pop ups. They pop up so much that it is nearly impossible to use them at all.
What is going on. I have not downloaded anything initially other than stuff from the Google Play Store... so it should be a virus or anything like that.
Help! Otherwise this thing is going back.
Check the date on the stick.
I use a network date setting app that sets it on startup

Internet connection problem with some apps

Hi, Forum,
Huawei y625 u51, android 442 here. Rooted.
When I connect to the internet, all user apps besides chrome and play store arent able to connect. After reinstall of the app, however, all works fine. Anyway, I have to reinstall skype, viber and some other important networking apps every morning after I wake up. This is too irritating. It all has begun after I deactivated some google apps. I have later activated them, but no effect - still need to reinstall the netapps.
Any cure?
Greetings.

Internet connection problem with the most apps

Hi, Forum,
Huawei y625 u51, android 442 here. Rooted.
My problem is with the networking user apps. All of them, besides chrome and play store, are unable to connect to the internet, having my phone connected.
So basically i have chrome connected perfectly, i read news, i read mail, whatever i want and it is all fine. Sadly, when i run skype, viber, or other user netapp, they sign me in, but do not send data and specifically give message "no connection", when there actually is one.
After i reinstall the app, it works fine. On the next day, it is all repeated - i connect and use chrome to surf, but when run skype or viber - it is to stubborn to connect i guess :d Thus i have to literally reinstall several webapps every morning after i wake up. This is a torture and irritates me heavily.
It has all begun, when i deactivated some google apps, that i dont use, in order to hide their icons from the menus. Right from the next day the above mentioned has started. I have them activated all back, but i guess the damage was already done and no solution but reinstall returns my ability to use whatsapp, viber and ect.
Any cure?
Greetings.
Ps: I have to admit, that i have pretty unfortunate experience up to now with android and i firmly believe to use it for a no further device i buy, if no major improvements are held. I feel like in a coop with it - restrictions, restrictions, restrictions.

Google Maps, Play Store and Gmail not working

Hi, I have One plus 3 with android 8.0.0
I went on holiday (10 hour zone difference)and deactivated all app connections (settings-data use-menu-data use control) except whatsapp and chrome and facebook, which only connected to the wifi in hotel.
I came back and activated all connections of apps (wifi and 4g).
All apps seem to work fine except for maps that finds the street I´m looking for, but just keeps on calculating best route.
Gmail opens emails, but doesn´t download or open the pdf or any file attached and google play store opens my apps ans similar ones on screen, but can´t seem to download any new ones to install and doesn´t search for any app I type in the search bar.
I´ve deleted all cache in recovery mode, and also tried changing the time to manual and to automatic rebooting in between (I read this somewhere), but it´s still the same.
I´ve also reset all app settings in app menu.
No idea what to do next.
Also, not sure if the trip had anything to do with this issue
Hopefully somebody can help me as I don´t really want to reset my phone.
Thanks
