[Completed] Edit / Delete? Where is the delete option! - XDA Assist

how do i delete posts... it says edit / delete. but i see no delete option after pressing the button.

Thank you for using XDA Assist. You can not delete your posts, only a Moderator can do that for you. Click on the report post button and select thread maintenance, explain why you want the thread deleted in the dialogue box, and a Moderator can take care of that for you.

No perfectly clear You cannot delete posts Which is why in previous post explained what to do

Only moderators can delete a post

You hit the report button and ask a moderator to close it for you.

View this thread in a browser and around your post somewhere there should be a triangle with a ! in it, select that and you can make a report to the moderators and request them to close your thread, the moderators only close threads, they do not delete them.

Nope, threads don't get deleted, they are only closed. You can use the report feature to report the threads to the moderators and they will close the threads for you. To find the report feature, view the threads in a browser and look around the border of the first post in the thread for the orange triangle with a "!" symbol, select that and you can make your report.
