I remember on my last phone, Xperia Z2, there was a mod I could use that would boost the volume pretty well. The Z5 speaker loudness is pretty low out the box (comparable to what the Z2 volume was). Is it possible to use the same volume mod on the Z5? Has anyone tried it? Or is there an alternative I could use?
It should always be possible by editing the xml file but you'd need root

Not gonna have NFC payment in my country anytime soon so I'm happy to root it. What XML file and what edit?
It should be system/etc/mixer paths xml
In there tho for the Z5 I'm unsure....
Here's an example of one from the Nexus 5

The RX1 and RX7 for the nexus are relevant to the top and bottom speakers in loudspeaker mode so adjusting their values (86) (90) will change their volume levels
Obviously for the Z5 this may be different so hopefully someone else can inform on that front

Hello,
I am wondering if Sony M2 Aqua has option to vibrate on answer and hang up call like other Android phones. I'm using Android 4.4.4.
Thanks
Only with Xposed module.
I do not understand what you said, but I the D2303 with eXperia Mod have Call Vibrator see screenshot!

Yes, but your mod requires deodexed firmware, I managed to get that with xposed module.

Here is my.problem.

You shouldn't need to unlock the bootloader for this.
Root following the guide for your phone model and then you will be able to change the mixer paths or flash a Locked Bootloader custom ROM or a sound mod of your choice to change it.
I have locked bootloader root and have a sound mod that edits volumes etc.
What model of phone do you have? Eg) D6603 D6653 etc
Edit: I need to read better your screens show it as D6603
should work regardless:

Hey thanks for the quick reply but I have a newer firmware version than the one in that post. Is that still safe ?

Hello guys.I just found a working method to increase really low output volume on headphones in Whyred. This simple operation needs root rights and I am not responsible if something goes wrong.Try at your own risk.I successfully increased my volume 5x times.
So,with any root file manager, just go to System>Vendor>etc>Mixer_paths.xml and change only these 2 values RX1 &RX2 (from 72 I think is stock) to any value you want and just reboot.Attention!I suggest no bigger value from 85.At first I tryied with 92 and my KZ EDR2 almost explode!
Cheers,enjoy true headphones/earphones sound!!
