I installed a custom bootlogo onto my T-mobile note 5 with ano unlocked bootloader. I was curious as to if we could package the gnu Tar file to be flashed via odin? I appreciate the help guys. I'm just thinking maybe I can adb into the (dev/block/platform/15570000.ufs/by-name/PARAM) and try to replace the file I just don't know what command or how do do it. Or is there a way to make something I can flash in odin to restore the original boot image. Thanks again for your help my email is [email protected] I'll gladly donate to anyone who can help me figure this out.. within reason of corse but I'm very desperate. I can't even get into recovery, only the download mode

Can you boot to your home screen?
If so, then download Rom Manager and flash the recovery from there.
It will install 3.0.2.4 CWM

Ok, DONT flash cwm again!!! IT WILL NOT HELP
you just have to flash stock firmware, use odin 1.85 and on PDA put the firmware you dowloaded
P.S Format system means you formated android, so now you dont have any firmware on your phone, of course it gets stuck
Done

Hey everyone and thanks in advance!
I managed to (hard?)brick my Samsung Galaxy Tab2 with Heimdall accidentally by flashing recovery.img on top of KERNEL.
Code:
heimdall flash --6 recovery.img
Uploading KERNEL
100%
KERNEL upload successful
Ending session...
Rebooting device…
Oops.. So now I can't access download mode, nor recovery mode. The device doesn't boot to OS either. So I was wondering if it is possible to install stock rom from external microSD-card. Or is somekind of JTAG solution the only way to go?
I couldn't find any guides how to boot from external sdcard and flash a new ROM from there, so any help appreciated!

I am looking for the same thing at the moment
Hi guys,
I have a Moto G2 currently and I have rooted it through KingRoot which was successfully done. After that, I had download the APK of Flash Image GUI and I tried to flash a custom recovery. After that, I tried to boot into recovery but it was showing:
hab check failed for recovery
failed to validate recovery image
Boot up failed
However, I can boot my phone up but it takes way way more time than it usually takes. My Bootloader is locked. I seriously dont know what's happened to my phone. Some plz help me. The phone shows the Motorola logo for few minutes and then turns off for a second and then boots up again and then after 5 minutes it boots up properly. I dont know how to unlock bootloader and all as I have just come from a Samsung S3 which was very easy to root and flash a recovery(thru Odin). I wanted to erase the user data in my phone. I tried thru recovery it didnt happen, i tried thru settings and it just tried to boot to recovery but couldnt and showed the above command. Plz help guys as I want a stock recovery or any other recovery so I can flash a custom ROM. I saw many forums and couldnt find a single problem like this so I came here .
Thanks a lot guys I just had to unlock the boot loader and return to stock 5.0.2 via a windowstool. I had bricked my device trying to install CM12.1 Nightly and the windows tool helped me so much u have know idea.
I have this problem last month that when I'm going to access recovery mode it always bootloop and doesn't do anything. THE LAST TIME I did is I flashed a twrp recovery image but I've download the wrong model for my phone. I used Flashify for flashing the wrong twrp recovery and as I entered, my phone rebooted but it stucked at the logo. So what I did was I removed the battery and it went to a boot. After that, I tried to enter in my recovery mode but it keep on bootlooping when I'm trying to access Recovery mode... I need suggestions and help from you guys! This problem was not solved by others that's why it will help not just me, also those who encountered my experience. I'm using Huawei Honor Bee :laugh:
Forgot to mention
I flashed the recovery img without unlocking the bootloader.

You need to flash a copy of your device's stock recovery or flash your stock firmware.
