I have a big problem. When I turn on my HTC Sensation, it goes to the Bootloader. The Bootloader is S-ON and unlocked. Recovery don´t turn on. After flashing a recovery, it gives me an error: sending 'recovery' (7216 KB)...

I have HBoo 1.27 and this software: 3.33.111.51
What can I do? I would be very thankful for help.

try this recovery (4ext)

extract the recovery.img and flash it via fastboot
Thanks for the reply. The error is the same with this recovery. I think I need the RUU for my software, but I haven´t found one.

There isn´t the matching RUU for my brandet phone. Only a gingerbread version, but with S-On I can´t downgrade.
Can I S-Off my phone from the bootloader?

you can use a goldcard(i don't remember what exactly is) to bypass the security and use whatever ruu you want

I send my sensation back for waranty and now i have it back completely stock.
Is it possible to unlock the sensation without using the htcdev's method?? and if this isn't possible can somebody help me with using the htcdev's method because when i presse the begin to unlock button on there site nothing happened.

Hi,
Have a go with THIS TOOLKIT
You can't unlock your Sensation "hboot: 1.27.0000" by HTC Dev method, nor by Revolutionary. Still no working solution. Same happened to me, nothing useful found till now.

Revolutionary Does not support HBOOT 1.27.0000, so the toolkit won't help.
I have 1.27.0000 s-on.
I'm stucked at first step of S-OFF: HTCdev does not work, tried many times. Ends with failure message:
sending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB)...

FAILED (remote: unlock token check failed)

So I can't unlock bootloader with JuopunutBear. First requirement is to unlock with HTCDev. So I think it won't work for me.
Idk if unrevoked works whit this device??

Unrevoked does not support Sensation. Tried.
I found this in Android Development section, maybe helps someone to root HBOOT 1.27.0000 device:

Will Revolutionary support HBOOT versions over 1.18.0000 ?
i had the issue with NO SERVICE and WIFI issue and i fixed all of these after changed cid to 11111111 and installed OTA RUU_Ville_U_ICS_40_S_HTC_Europe_2.31.401.5 and everything went perfect no service and wifi fixed!
than when trying to UNLOCK im getting:

****UPDATE: every time u use RUU update u must generate new token from dev for unlock..
Is your Bootloader unlocked when you try flashing the recovery? Because from what i can understand your bootloader wont unlock and your attempting to flash recovery in fastboot
Also i think recall seeing alot of people getting no service and wifi problems after changing CID and flashing EURO RUU...

the bootloader is locked or unlocked?
if it is unlocked then relock it

Try this command with your terminal (computer) : fastboot flash boot boot.img <---this is the boot.img in the ICS zip file

if you want to use a ruu find the appropiate one
if you aren't supercid then i think the ruu must supports your cid
also do you have htc drivers installed?

i was Supercid before flashing then i changed it to HTC__01 and flashed RUU again and it worked i'm verry happy at last :laugh:

i have tried to install ics on my i4g. i forgot to do s-off and tried to install custom rom. now my phone is not opens.stucks in htc logo. can anyone upload a stock roms backup for i4g or is there another way to wake up my phone.

You don't need S-OFF to flash a custom rom or root your device....read this:

That is because you are in hboot usb plug and not fastboot usb. Press power button to toggle to fastboot usb.
I relocked the bootloader and the phone keeps going back into the bootloader on a loop.
When I try to unlock through htc dev I keep getting a error message saying that the

I had the same problem, just reinstall the current rom you have or flash a new one.if that does not work try flashing an ruu as it still flashes even in bootloader.

I figured it out, i used htc dev to unlock the bootloader again. I find it strange that locking it caused a bootloader loop though.
