I have a nexus 5 16 gb and i downloaded the recent software update android 6.0.1 and then I decieded to root and I used 'Nexus root toolkit v2.06' and first unlocked the bootloader and then rooted. Everything worked fine but after the process was complete it was rebooting and the booting animation went on and on for many hours and the device did not root. I really don't know what's going on. My purpose is to install a custom rom: cyanogenmod 12. Now wat should I do ???? PLEASE HELP.

I tried before to install cm 12 for my device i.e sm-a500g, the way u described in the installation description. Cm getting installed, but when the phn reboots quick after installation my phn is getting stucked in odin mode. A line appears written with no os installed. I hit the dead-end. Currently i am using my stock rom i.e 5.0.1 lollipop. Even now i cant root my phone. If i roots it, it is getting job done ut when the phone reboots each and every app along with launcher and everything is getting force closed. I am stucked by all points.. Plz help me. I don't know where to post this, so i did here.. Plz hlp me..

The CM12.1 that I'm finding is probably the one you already have, it's the only one here for your device so it won't do you any good for me to link you there.

HELP!
My phone is okay but after flashing a ported miui 7 rom it is already dead. The process is completed.
It doesn't power but when I connect it on my computer it is detected for a short period of time but ejects immediately. Is there any way to fix this?

I rooted my Tf700 once but had to change the motherboard, can root my device again? I was fairly certain I couldn't several years ago, but maybe something has changed during that time?
