I changed the font on my Galaxy S3 Touchwiz Rom and noticed similar font on the smartwatch.
I tried more fonts & the smartwatch uses the same font. I have tried it only on Touchwiz Rom and on Sony smartwatch MN2.
Try it on other ROMs and Smartwatch 2 & Post feedback

I think you cannot add fonts but only choose between the 4 fonts present.
(Settings-Display-Fonts)
I kinda feel the fool. I deleted the background images from my gear s3 frontier. Is there anyway to replace them, or to add other backgrounds?
