Hello everyone I wish I could help with a problem, I have a HTC One SV and try to unlock the bootloader, followed all the way, the problem is supposed to end when I*put the code, fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin is supposed to get out the option of releasing the bootloader on the phone but just blinks and does not occured please someone help me.

okay here is my problem:
i have unlocked my desire s with HTCdev and flashed a custom rom
(Virtuous Quattro RC3)
but i will get back to stock rom.
i have downloaded this:
RUU_Saga_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.1_Radio_20.28b.30.08 05U_38.03.02.11_M_release_177977_signed
but i cant get it to work.
i´ve tried downgrading, goldcard, run RUU in fastboot.
always the same error: Error [155]:image update error
can u help me?

okay my problem is solved.
i had to re-lock my bootloader and the RUU runs great.
thx trander, this helped me i had to just re-lock my phone and then use RUU. Perfect!

maybe you want to delete your imei and serial no. from your first post. should not be spread over the world wide web... right?

Hello Everyone.
I had the same problem as the author of this thread had and his solution works for me. but what should I do next to install custom ROM on this device? i'm new to HTC, i know how to do it when you have Sony(Ericsson) or SAMSUNG or even LG but HTC is just complicated for me.
Let me know how to search for my solution and I will be on my own.

No it was previously S-OFF and unlocked and rooted.
But it was damaged and I just got it back from HTC with HBOOT 1.27.0000 with S-ON and the rooted has been lost
So I need assistance on how to flash custom roms etc with this new HBOOT as revolutionary wont support it,

I don't think they should be allowed to do that!
Why let some people unlock their phones and not others? They should send back a phone with the same functionality as the one that they received. I'm going to send them an email and ask then what they are playing at.

I could be wrong, but I thought it was an issue with the new motherboard having a new IMEI which didn't match factory records for HTCdev unlock to work. I believe someone has contacted them regarding this and they are looking into it. I don't think they intentionally tried to screw anyone over.

I change my cid to SuperCID, from "VODAP001" to "11111111", now i cant unlock the bootloader and write CWM recovery, when i try unlock the bootloader, i see : bootloader check failed or something like that. Second thing, when i tried install software from RUU, program shows me 2.38.161.6 version, is the newest firmware for this phone (vodafone uk), on my hdd iv got just 2.31.401.5 and i cant downgrade it. I find the RUU 2.38.161.6 on filefactory, but i cant download it, i have no account there, maybe somebody can give me password and log in on few min ? any suggestions for my problem ?? thanks

i bought account premium on filefactory, download vodafone 2.38.161.6 and install normaly, phone work now, but still with no polish language.. if someone wants some firmware from there, send me a priv, can download and upload on some normally server. I still cant unlock the bootloader:

You shouldn't have bought a premium account, there's tonnes of mirrors.
Use the HTCDev website to get a new unlock token.

I have a HTC one m7 in which by mistake wiped the os, now only reboot in bootloader. I have tried to use various RUU but i can not get anywhere allways failed.
I can not get which version the phone has, so i have used the cidnum and modelid. Here a picture of the fastboot loader see attachment.
May be you all have any ideas how to fix this problem.I have been trying for the last 3 days without getting anywhere.

Is your phone bootloader unlocked? If yes, just follow this LINK, follow those steps, and you'll be okay!

I had the bootloader unlocked b4 I tried using advance recovery to flash a stock rom but failed many times. So I decided to lock it to run a proper RUU but since I do not have a phone version number I had used cidnum and modelid numbers but that failed as well.
I dont know what to do now any more?

I accidentally deleted / formatted system and everything else which said format. So now i don't have any OS on the phone.
Htc stuck on the white HTC screen. My computer only regognizes the device if i try to sideload. Nothing working. Bootloader is locked , S-off. I tried Ruu but it gives error 155. If i can somehow unlock bootloader, i can sideload a rom.
Anyone Please i need help !!!:crying:

Hey,
For using RUU, you need to unlock bootloader first otherwise it'll give you error 155.
Have a look at this thread which tells you how to unlock bootloader.
