Is Xposed Available Yet? I have DAV-701L Titanium Grey International - Huawei P8max

@rowihel2012 or anyone knowledgeable on rooting/etc,
Is Xposed still not available for us? I had Xposed on my LG G4 (arm64). It's available now for 6.0 marshmallow last I checked. Any helpful info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We have a Mediapad X2 forum here. I made some flashable ROMS and we have xposed working. I'd imagine it should also work with the P8 and P8 Max as well. Our forum is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-x2/development/mod-xposed-framework-mediapad-x2-t3255963
If you wanna try that method and let me know if that works that would be great. The TWRP also works on the Mediapad M2 as well so it should work on the P8 Max.

Anyone with an update on this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-x2/development/mod-xposed-framework-mediapad-x2-t3255963
There are a few updates in this thread, but I'm not exactly sure if that would be helpful for the framework installation or not. I hope someone can browse the asian forums and see if they have found any method. Thanks! I'll do my own research as well at some point later today or this weekend when I get time.
Edit: Ok, I found this build prop edit fix. Anyone try this? https://youtu.be/-DtWDM8hifM
He basically changed the build prop line 'ro.config.hwtheme=2' to 'ro.config.hwtheme=0' then rebooted his phone. This is the same thing @mtyler7807 did in the mediapad X2 thread above to get xposed to work.

Is that method Work??

Are you still using a P8Max on ATT? If you are I have a few questions for you. I also have the international P8max, I really like it, but im still on build 002, are you also on the same build? If not, how did you get it? Also Do you have any additional themes on yours, other than the stock ones the phone came with?

Yes I will reinstall when the firmware when the ota is released. But do you know when it's released in north America for the L04 model?
Also there is a video on YouTube I used for my rooted p8 lited that you can install nethunter without flashing the zip. I will put it in the next comment, but I only tried to flash it with this ROM. But something strange happened after I flashed it or the xpossed also. After I flashed the nethunter in the beta nougat the phone was bricked but the recovery was reset to the stock huawei one. After I use bootloader to reflash the nougat twrp I didn't wipe anything or the cache even in this whole process. But I flashed first this hw_eu zip or whatever it is, then the update zip. Then j don't wipe the cache or anything and when I start the phone it just starts again like it was just off. But it resets the recovery image again and j have to flash the root again. Idk if this is normal but j thought I'd just mention it since some people are working with this software right now.

I did it exactly like this on huawei p8 lite with android 6.0 rooted and it worked fine. Also I flashed the same zip of the android 6.0 nethunter for Nexus on this honor 8 when on 6.0 android and it worked great.
I remember I did get it to work somehow before on nougat beta for honor 8 but this was before the root method was found so it didnt do much.
I will take a look into this later in the week if there still isn't a clear explanation on here for you by then.
Thanks a lot to everybody!
I tried the vídeo and worked perfectly on honor 8 rooted.

[Xposed Framework] Xposed Framework for LG Stylo 2 Plus

Here is Xposed Framework for the LG Stylo 2 Plus! Make sure to install through the app and not the recovery to prevent bootloops... I learned the hard way. I don't know if someone beat me to this so if someone has, let me know.
Is this verified to be working?
yeah the screenshot is from my phone but take others words for it
How are we doing with G4 TweaksBox?
This worked great for me. Thanks!
Also, G4 Tweaksbox seems to be working fine. Can't promise every option works, but all of the ones I have tried worked.

I did a search in google, and tried that first link you posted. The iRoot method wanted to put some weird stuff inside my phone, and even the root wasn't succesfull. And when I look it up in this website, how to root the Mate 9 version, I can see it's quite a process, so I guess those blogs are just scaming us.

It's weird you haven't received any update. B130 is from January. There is a new B141 from August, so that might be coming your way soon. The B3xx seem to be EMUI 5. I can build a twrp for you, but you'll have to test it. You could probably try the one released for Mate 9, it might work. If not you just flash back stock B130 recovery.
I'll be able to build it tonight, at the movies now with kids

You'd have to use the Flash and rebrand guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-mate-9-flash-update-package-t3593108. that one has modified stock recoveries. However, none for Lite. I could check and compare Lites recovery to mate 9, if it's not too different it should be easy to make the changes needed. Else you could ask @mankindtw nicely to make it

I'll just check and see what mankindtw did in the other recoveries. It's just a few bytes in 2 files to change. So I'll basically compare your recovery to mine and/or the others in that flash thread and see if there's much difference. If it is you'll have to ask mankindtw as he might know what to look for.
Edit: I will check when I get home

It's too different. If it was just changing the bytes I could do it, but file size is almost half of my recovery image. Lol.
However, you should be able to use TWRP for P9 Lite. It seems to be basically the same device, both are named hi6250 (compared fstab, they're identical and named fstab.hi6250 ).

It's not for sure. I'm just saying the P9 Lite and Mate 9 Lite seem to be identical. So you'll have to test. lol
In case it doesn't work you can just flash back stock recovery.
It's the same if I were to build it, it's not certain it would work as I can't test it myself.
But you should probably wait for mankindtw to patch the recovery image.
And if you install that TWRP, it will probably be in chinese by default.
you can look at section 2.1 here https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p9lite/how-to/guide-unlock-bootloader-twrp-root-t3405701
to change it to english. If you'll just use it to update to EMUI 5.0 it doesn't really matter.
And when/if you update to EMUI 5.0, you'll want to flash this TWRP instead: https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p9lite/development/twrp-t3588356
If you want TWRP that is.

Thank you very much, ante0, for everything! I'll get a hold of @mankindtw now to see what he says ? I'll keep you updated also.
@mankindtw
I have been having issues with my phone, so I'm not sure if you received my previous messages or not (cannot find them in sent PMs), but my name is Vince, and need some MAJOR help...
I was referred to you by someone by the XDA name of ante0, and he mentioned to me in passing that you are the master at creating modified stock recoveries. I was hoping that you'd be able to help me out?
I just recently bought a Huawei Mate 9 Lite (BLL-L23)
that has old software on it. The current build is BLL-L23C605B130, the custom version is CUSTC605D001, and EMUI is 4.1; however, I know that there are builds that are much more recent. My phone, for the life of me, just simply cannot upgrade to the recent firmware via official means.
I recently heard of Firmware Finder and found the latest firmware for my device - but, it tells me under Check Firmware Status, "Firmware not approved for installation." I also heard that there is a way to install that firmware by bypassing authorization.
I would really appreciate it if you would be so kind to create for me a modified stock recovery for my device.
I don't know any other developers who can do so, and I'm definitely not a developer myself, haha. I can't explain why my device won't update, because I know that the most recent build is B364? If I flash the software by bypassing authorization, will everything still work perfectly?
Thank you very much, Mankindtw, for your consideration... I would be extremely grateful for your help, my friend.

Hello! I gave up...
I followed some steps, reading topics from this site.
I could unlock my bootloader (now everytime I power my phone I got a message reminding me that xD)
But I couldn't install the twrp, tested some adb softwares, but nothing... always got some kind of error. And I never get a clear explanation about those chinese .exe softwares to install twrp and those stuff.

Rootable?

So i don't know why this phone is so unpopular but I'm really interested in buying one over the Mi 9. I talked to the german customer service hotline and they told me that the bootloader is unlockable. They did not want to tell me how to do it. Now my question is: should I wait for someone to try to root it or should I buy the Mi 9?
I'm really interested to buy the Axon 10 Pro as it's really an awesome device with its great price. But I like to use custom ROMS and I'm wondering if it will get custom development support...

wow thanks. thanks very alot
So if someone got a custom rom means they could unlock the bootloader. But what about Root? Magisk? SuperSU? What versions? I need to see a dev try it before I do.

Could you change the Chinese rom without Google apps to the EU version?
So here's my question, what is ZTE's history with allowing us to unlock bootloaders on their phones? How long do we expect it will take before that happens? Because whether or not I buy this phone depends on rootability.
Is there any forum anywhere that sorts new phones by rootability?

I imported the phone, as it's not available here in the US. It's great little phone, but it does have it's drawbacks and one of those is rootability. ZTE has a history of locking bootloaders by eliminating the fastboot option.
