So you locked the bootloader. Have you gone through the steps to UNLOCK the bootloader again?

I have to activate the unlock in the developer menu. As the appliance does not start, there's no way.
It's not enough, you need unlock via fastboot, with the Motorola code to unlock before you do anything, the setting in menu doesn't unlock bootloader, it's only a steep

I've never unlocked via the developer menu. With both my XT1225 phones (carrier Puerto Rico and factory Mexico) I unlocked via the code from the Motorola website.

Yeah, for Motorola phones that setting doesn't really do anything, as far as I know. It's something put in with Lollipop but with Motorola phones you unlock via Motorola, if it's allowed -- unless you are a really good hacker (i.e. what's happening with the formerly locked down Droid Turbo).

You've tried both ways? Try one, then the other -- in a different order? I'm pretty sure the code is the way to go.
The code you have from Motorola, is this the ORIGINAL code? Or a code you requested AFTER you locked it back?

Yes. is the original code. I've tried various ways and couldn't unlock without entering the programmer menu
Once you have upgraded to lollipop there is no way to use the unlock code on a phone that doesn't boot up so you can toggle the option in the developer menu.
At this point you should try to find a stock original image for your phone and see if it will flash.

I have the same problem
hopefully someone is going to help us
I have heard it mentioned that you can temporarily root the ATT/AIO/Cricket XT1045 on Android 4.4.4, but not permanently (yet). I have no idea how, though.
Can someone help us out?
I had an hour or so long talk with an AT&T employee who actually knew what they were talking about. I believe due to restrictions in ATT tech chat, he was unable to post either links or straight out tell me how to do it, but he said that it is very possible.
Perhaps people should try logging into their AT&T account and using the tech chat to see what someone can come up with.
Has any progress been made on this? I have XT1045 from Cricket Wireless (owned by AT&T) and the bootloader is not unlockable using the conventional method.

OK. Here I go. Sorry I'm kind of new to XDA. I too have a xt1045 and I just unlocked the boot loader and I too am on ATT.
I bought my phone from Motorola unlocked, idk if ATT or cricket or whatever carrier sells them unlocked too. That may affect bootloader unlocking since you may need an unlocked device to see unlock boot loader.
Now down to the bootloader code.
Make sure you are copying the code correctly from the command prompt. I think the first time I tried to unlock bootloader, I may have copied wrong or something like that. Also, I have heard reports of people retrying, have their devices verified, and getting a code to unlock bootloader. Hopefully that is the case for you guys and unlocking is a viable option.
Hope I helped
Feel free to ask me question about unlocking the bootloader.
I haven't rooted yet and I am getting ready for that.
FYI: you we're able to unlocked your bootloader only because you purchased your device directly from Motorola. The rest of us who purchased from a carrier are F*CKED.

Yeah except i was only replying to him saying if you got your moto G from a carrier it's locked always your f**ked , and that aint so ..
And I didn't say carrier unlocked uh I got it from a carrier new , so yeah soon as I opened the box and entered bootloader it said unlocked yes and no warning screen upon boot either saying this device has been unlocked .
For you guys with At&T-XT1045 or any try this k , Lemme know if it worked
1.) Unlink your Device from motorola ID which means dont be signed in from your device in settings menu -unlink it & don't log in with your google account neithaa dawg.
2.) Unlink from motorola site if needed if option is there
3.) Sign into website and drag the entire policy bar to the bottom (like you read it in entirety) click I agree and check for key eligibility again
4.) Try again with IE 11 if you haven't used it already
5.) recheck your string letter for freakin letter removes all spaces make sure you include # signs try one more time.. There are 4-5 spaces when you just copy/paste the string so paste the code into notepad with any extra spaces deleted please.
See here from about 3:00 on -->> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjsO7t5ulhw
6.) If all that failed spend $25 get http://theroot.ninja/ ( for only 5.01 or lower - doesn't work on 5.02 I heard)
7.) If all else has failed head to thee motorala-forumwhere they are informing moto G owners to send email with their fastboot oem get_unlock_data + fastboot getvar al, and they should be able to accomodate you..
8.) Proceed to adb Sideload or Flash This Total Sauciness Either Way Moto G 2014 Owners

You go to the Motorola website and get the unlock key. It's easy. You then copy and paste it into the command window.
Doesn't matter where you live. I live in the U.S. and have three XT1225 I imported from other countries.
You mention Developer Options. I didn't use that when unlocking my XT1225, but you have enabled Developer Options, right? Click the Build Number in "About" several times?

Yes, I did fastboot oem get_unlock_data, then I send a long code to Motorola and I get UNLOCK CODE
Then I did fastboot oem unlock N625XXXXXXXXGXXXXJV and unlock bootloader
Then I decided to lock bootloader back and did fastboot oem lock
After that my xt1225 is not power on, and I can't enable Developer Options

After successfully UNLOCKING the bootloader with the Motorola code, you locked it back? ARghhh.
And now you want it unlocked yet again?
Sorry, someone else will have to help... I've never, never re-locked a bootloader once I got freedom.
I tried to lock because I had some problem with programs.
And when my moto doesn't work, I tried unlock again
Can you help me to find original recovery 5.0.2 for XT1225 Puerto-Rico Claro?

Try adb and fastboot instead of Windroid
As I tried to explain in my post , this is not possible as the phone will not write the data sent. Thinking this is why windroid returns an error.

Did you enable OEM Unlocking the Developer Options menu? Still required...
I would also recommend doing it manually, the commands are easy and the process is simple... if something goes wrong you can see exactly what fails. Tools like Windroid are not really useful for simple tasks like this.

The firmware does not determine whether the bootloader is unlockable.
When the device connects to the Internet, it checks its IMEI against a whitelist on Google's servers. If it has been authorized for bootloader unlock, OEM Unlocking will become available.
If it doesn't, it's likely that you have a locked variant.

The OEM Unlocking toggle does not lock or unlock the bootloader itself. It simply allows you to unlock the bootloader when enabled.
If you want to relock your bootloader, you do this via ADB while in bootloader mode: fastboot flashing lock

For some reason I couldn't get into fastboot mode, "adb reboot bootloader" would just restart my device. If I booted into recovery, the "reboot into bootloader" option would just start up the phone. But I eventually found out I can lock the bootloader in download mode
